I am here. I can't afford to go to Pitchfork, but it is nice to see her on a lineup. Everyone now knows she will be in the US this summer and is playing festivals.

Eh, JAMC was average at Hopscotch, and I'm seeing Mangum for the second time tomorrow night. I probably wouldn't see R. Kelly outside of a festival setting, so this is perfect.
I love these headliners though am not really familiar with R. Kelly's stuff. My favorite B&S album is The Life Pursuit which I can put on anytime and play all the way through. NPR has a great concert of theirs archived. I've never had the chance to see them but when I heard this I put them near the top of my concert bucket list:
Awesome that New Pornos opened that show cause just now on my way home I was thinking how they'd be a great pre-headliner for B&S. Wonder if they've been working on any new music now that A.C. Newman's album has been out a while and is done touring.

I went to a B&S/New Porno's show on that tour at the Brown Theatre in Louisville. It was my first solo show, which was a little sad because I had bought two tickets and couldn't get anyone to go with me. The first year of law school was shitty like that. Anyway, show was still amazing, one of the only times I remember people shouting out requests and it working.

I'm really considering going to this. I'll wait to spring for tickets until I see Bjork confirmed at Roo though. I'm already committed to Roo (have a ticket) and Hangout (need a ticket and need a hotel), so I have some financial question marks and some free-time question marks preventing me from buying immediately. But if Bjork isn't on the Roo lineup, I'll just have to buy tickets and hope I can sell them if need be.
2:27 p.m.: Festival promoters say there are about 60 tickets left for Sunday, and Saturday was a sellout of 18,000. But Friday’s attendance was a mere 11,000. The rain-soaked conditions didn’t help. Promoters say 5,000 people who bought tickets for Friday stayed home, apparently unwilling to dodge raindrops. Overall attendance for the three days is 47,000, down by several thousand from previous years.
