Look at the Governor's Ball poster. The xx is directly behind Grizzly Bear, directly ahead of Feist, and five spots ahead of Animal Collective. To be fair, though, whoever was booking AnCo in '11 was super aggressive about large venues and prominent festival slots.

Basically what is happening is that I'm drunk enough to confidently predict that XX headlines if booked. I will buy all of you crappy Heinekens in the crappy geodesic Heineken dome if they sub-headline.

Well never mind then. I guess I didn't pay too much attention to the lineup order when I looked at the poster earlier today. Maybe I'm just reluctant because I'd be a little disappointed with them as a headliner, though I do like them. Plus I suppose it'd be better seeing them mostly in the dark, especially considering the last Chicago fest they played it was 100 f'ing degrees in the middle of the day at Lolla.
I wouldn't be insanely happy about an XX headliner. It's not that I dislike them, I've just seen them. A lot. Though if that happened and we got a Jamie XX set, I'll make concessions.
All guesses as to who's playing the P4K stage at Primavera Sound. There was some overlap last year, I'm sure there will be this year.
Also, Fiona Apple as a HL, perhaps? I'm just throwing stuff out there.

Damn, there were 12 overlaps between Pitchfork Chicago and Pitchfork Primavera last year. Tame Impala, Death Grips, Jessie Ware, Metz, and Merchandise are looking even more likely. Daphni would be a nice get.

I think people underestimate their popularity because of how spare their music sounds. It's not the kind of thing you expect to find in a headlining set.
GL, I was thinking about a Jamie XX set. I doubt it happens at the festival proper, but he would be a strong possibility for a late night set somewhere else.

How To Dress Well is getting ready to play here March 30th. I guess it's enough time for him to play again, but maybe not. If he is here maybe Sky Ferreira will be too. They're playing together.
And I'd love it if Melody's Echo Chamber were there.

Is Deerhunter big enough to headline? I want to say no, but the last time they played they were second to last on the headliner stage. Not sure if they'd bring them back after just a couple years but it's been done before. Plus I've been jonesing to see them since their '11 Roo set.

I officially have Friday off, so to everyone flying in... You need to get together and discuss arrival times so I can pick you all up and have a group hug!
PS. I don't mind waiting for a few hours in between people arriving. You can find me at the bar.
Thanks, Schulzie! Super sweet of you! I am dealing with Wanee flights right now then I'll start looking at flights for this. I don't mind booking a flight ($ within reason) to arrive at the same time as others to make everything move smoother. A ride would be a great help!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Well, since I am now partying with Chico on Thursday I will be able to pick people up both days. I know Phi is flying in Friday at 1030. Thursday just needs to be evening.
