I might be. I really do love Pitchfork and it was ridiculously easy when I lived in my hometown which was only an hour and a half from Chi. Now I'm 2 hours south of there which makes it a still very doable amount, but I don't know where I'll be this summer. The primary concern is that I get a super dope internship out east. And I use the word 'concern' super lightly, as that would be awesome. If I'm anywhere else in the Midwest I'll probably end up making it.
Most are. PS will do a few additions (some major) but the majority are out there. Looking at the line-up you can guess which bands are playing which. The Vice Stage there will throw you a bit. Last year, The Men played Vice when I was positive it was P4K.
Soon is before the schedule. Like 3 weeks before. They will have it in the last round of additions.

Kind of a outside chance headliner (although I still stand behind my possibility of the Knife being a headliner, being that they are big enough and have no tour dates at the moment between June and August), but what about Belle & Sebastian? They will forever be indie darlings and they are going to be in North America in July (they have been announced to perform at the Montreal Jazz festival like two weeks before this). I could see them in the Pavement/Godspeed you! Black Emperor position of a legendary headliner role.
All guesses as to who's playing the P4K stage at Primavera Sound. There was some overlap last year, I'm sure there will be this year.
Also, Fiona Apple as a HL, perhaps? I'm just throwing stuff out there.
Tame Impala Death Grips Wild Nothing Jessie Ware Solange Local Natives Disclosure How to Dress Well Metz Daphni Mac DeMarco Matthew E. White Melody's Echo Chamber King Tuff Merchandise Foxygen FIDLAR Daughn Gibson
Really good list. But Disclosure is out. They leaked on their website a few weeks back that they will be at Lollapalooza this year which makes it so they wont be at P4k (they have since taken that down).
These are some other thoughts I had about possible bands for P4k this year (besides the before mentioned Knife & Belle & Sebastian possibilities):
Possible Headliners:
The National - debuted a bunch of new songs at ATP show, headlining BK arena in June, could have a new album they are ready to promote this summer. They have headlined P4k before in 2009. Frank Ocean - Got pretty big this year, might be big enough to headline. Grizzly Bear- Definitely at that level. No chicago dates so far this year. Unless they get picked up by Lolla. My Bloody Valentine - New album (supposed) to come out this year. P4k darlings. Godspeed roll. The Postal Service - longshot, might be more of a lolla act. Blur. Longshot as well but do have an open slot and have set date in Norway right around lolla.
Late afternoon/early evening bands possible for a mainstage:
Bat For lashes - new critical album. to tour off. Might be more of a lolla act. Yo La Tengo - New album/Pfork Darlings Tame Impala - Critically acclaimed new album, played lolla last year. Miguel (might be a lolla act) Crystal Castles (might be more a lolla act) Converge - Could get that Guided by Voices/Superchunk spot. New album got rave reviews. Mt Eerie Menomena Death Grips - i think that's a safe bet Swans.
Possible smaller up and comers for stage 3:
DIIV Hundred Waters Parquet Courts
Hip Hop acts: Action Bronson Joey Bad@$$ Earl Sweatshirt
I recently had to get a new card after leaving my card at a bar... So I emailed them to request how to update my card information and they just said I have to call on Friday. Sure hope this isn't a huge mess.

FIDLAR with WAVVES and Cheetahs on April 1st. They're playing Subterranean which is a small kind of crappy venue. I think the last show I saw there was like Don Caballero or something. I think that's promising for a P4k return since it's not one of the main places in the city.
