Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
An inforooster meetup would be awesome! I'll be camping with the vendors Black Ink Art which should be located right up the hill from the ferris wheel (if we got the same spot as last year) so feel free to stop by. I'll PM my number to yall.
Phone was completely useless there. Left it in my tent practically the whole time. Then I proceeded to roll around on the ground. Loved it all.
Yeah, my phone just died. I'd charge it, get to 15% and then die again, was useless.
Overall i had an Awesome time at this. I'm not really HUGE in to Jam bands, but the Biscuits definitely turned me. They were pretty filthy friday and saturday. Other highlights for me were, going back stage after the biscuit set friday and meeting Aaron and chilling with him for a bit. Got to go and see all the artist trailers. Met Paper Diamond. And we were back stage for Destroid, which was awesome to see them walk by in those epic suits. Also met Killer Mike and El-P at the will call area. Told them i enjoyed Run the Jewels better than yeezus. They laughed at that.
I realized i really couldn't go to an all edm festival. Like it's cool and all, but after 10 bass drops i'm really bored. It's cool to see the crowd reactions and stuff, but i found myself restless a bunch of times after listening to a dj for like 15 minutes. A lot of times i felt like this kid...
I had a great time. I kept data turned off on my phone (and kept it completely off for the few sleeping hours), and my phone lasted pretty well although service got spotty sometimes. I actually have never seen the Biscuits before (I don't think) and thought they were great and their light show was AMAZING. STS9, Zeds, Tommy Trash, Flux, EL-P, Flosstradamus... I could keep going. My only disappointments were being a little bored at LTJ Bukem and I wasn't a fan of Killer Mike (no matter how much @ntellier85 loved him at Forecastle).
The whole sinking stages thing obviously was annoying on Saturday, but I think they handled that the best they could. However, getting in Wednesday night... OYEEE! I arrived at 4 AM and didn't get in until 11:30 AM. Other people in my group got there are 10:30 PM and didn't get there until 10:30 AM- a full 12 hours later. Now, I know it was because of the mud and wasn't Camp's fault, BUT communication communication communication. No tweet, no Facebook post, no nothing. We are all sitting in line working with rumors only. Bad form, Camp Bisco, bad form. I never even slept a minute that night and it cause me to pass out before Squarepusher on Thursday, which was super sad since it was a top 5 for me.
Hell's Angels are by far my biggest complaint. The Angels are by far the most rude and inconsiderate group of individuals that I have ever come in contact with. Their attitude and behavior was despicable. I hope that if Camp doesn't return and is replaced with Counterpoint, MCP will break ties with that group. They obviously hate the festival and festival-goers. Maybe they used to be good, but they have passed their usefulness.

Edit: OH YEAH!! Also i met a girl that was wearing a panda hat thingy. I asked her if the words "CornCat" meant anything to her and she said "Nope, what is that suppose to be a drug?" I was disappointed.

Awe sad!! That wasn't me. I saw one or two other panda hats over the weekend. I went panda on Friday. I personally didn't take many pictures this weekend. But this is the hat I wore during the day (paired with my 'tu):
And this was my actual costume from around 5 PM til 6 AM:
Obviously, I am not wearing the hood correctly in this pic, but it was on most of the time. You can see what it looks like in my avatar.
I kept my eye out for Karen's pandra PJs that night, but alas... no
Fun story... I was right outside BIG tent during Destroid and a couple comes walking out of the crowd. The guy comes straight up to me, says "Congratulations!!" and gives me a huge hug. I just smiled and said thanks. When he pulled away he said, "You're the furriest one at the festival!!"

Never actually broke out the Panda. Thursday night I bumped into a friend and ended up hanging out with his group most of the weekend. I was with them on Friday from the morning on and never went back to the tent for a night change.
Ended up on a couch at the top of a hill Saturday morning having a positive vs. negative conversation for about 5-6 hours. Pretty epic night.
I haven't posted since the fest because I got sick the Monday after and am still recovering. That being said, this year's Bisco was my favorite festival experience so far. The music was phenomenal, the weather was great, my vendor campsite was prime (right across from the BIG Tent!) and I had the best group of buds with me to share the experience that I could've asked for. And it was real cool meeting you Karen! My friends and I (especially Dave and I) were all well into the ring when you came by, I vaguely remember you and Dave flinging business cards around the crowd in front of the BIG tent.
The wait in line to get in Wednesday was definitely killer. We arrived at 11:30pm and finally got parked and camped around 4:30am. For all the work Bisco did to be more organized this year, I don't understand how a festival much much smaller then bonnaroo takes longer to check people in. Sorry to hear you missed Squarepusher Bonz. I'd never seen or heard of his act, but my friends insisted on going and damn did his show melt my face, talk about an intense light show. The Biscuits final show Saturday had an absurd light show too, lasers everywhere (I was even able to sneak into the VIP viewing section for the set). My favorite sets were Zeds Dead, Dillon Francis (Dillstradamus!), Squarepusher, Madeon and basically every other late night set. I also enjoyed Macklemore's set, which I missed at roo.
