Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Because their are a lot of crazy druggies who attend.. Iv never seen any fights or felt in danger while there though. Just alot of usage to an unsafe degree.. That said, I enjoy attending due to cost, proximity, musical selection, and have met some rather interesting people that I run into at shows all the time. I avoid the other nonsense.
I don't know, I don't really see it having any more drug use than any other small camping fest I've been to. It all depends on your personal experience but I've seen way more people have drug related issues at Bonnaroo than at Camp Bisco.
So, do most people still think Outkast is a lock for Bonnaroo with the knowledge that Kanye is probably playing and that Outkast has been heavily hinted to headline Forecastle in July?

I mean I guess they could play Bonnaroo the 12th if they play the 15th in Poland, I can't imagine that will happen though. Moving that kind of production in that small of time frame would be a nightmare.

They aren't playing Thursday night at Bonnaroo. Best case scenario is probably that they play Poland the 15th, Bonnaroo the 13th, that would give them a day to travel. We also have zero idea of what kind of production they'll have, so who knows what it will take to move it? If they were announced for the 14th in Poland, I think we'd be out of luck, but there's still some hope.
Also, this does not need to be its own thread. At all.
It's a fact that hip-hop headliners have a pretty grand production, on top that-it's a reunion tour. All shows hip/hop/reunion shows I've done sound for clearchannel have had a very large production.

Bonnaroo isn't booking a headlining act to play on Thursday before half the people show up.
Kanye instead of Outkast, what a let down. That's like having someone take you out for steak dinner but your steak is from Applebees
It's more like someone saying they'll take you to Peter Luger's Steakhouse, but instead they "only" take you to Smith & Wollensky.
I think its more like someone telling you Gordon Ramsey is flying into town to put his heart into one steak for you, but then they take you to Peter Luger's

Yeah? How many Outkast reunion shows have you done for Clear Channel?
I saw them in 2004 at Bryant Park, which was through clear channel, if that works for you. It was a big production then, don't think you'll see it downsize.

With big touring acts with an elaborate touring rig, aren't there two sets of the rig so that they can get a head start on setting the stage up in one city while the artist performs in the previous city? They could have something like that for their European dates so that all they have to do is hop on a plane and everything will be set up for them state side.
Though yeah, it's a stretch now. Especially with Kanye strongly rumored.
Looking at going somewhere else this year. Outkast is a must see for me.
I hate to beat a dead horse but Outkast might be the only act that could have had this effect on me.
I can think of a few others but this one is actually happening. If we have to go to another fest to see Outkast we won't be able to afford to go to Roo.
