Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
My wife went shopping there 2 hours earlier, that's scary shit. Apparently there's multiple Inforoosters living near me; y'all stay safe as well!
To the point, the homeless shelter is an interesting place to walk past but it doesn't feel dangerous really. Central Park is pretty nice. For those familiar with the old location of Music Midtown (pre 2005), do you think they'll have a similar setup to the Z93 & 96 Rock stages at SK?
Last Spiritualized link of the night. I came across this interview with J. Spaceman about a week ago and found it to be a little bizarre. He doesn't like festivals for weird reasons. He thinks they should be more about drugs and less about bands.

Ok, I can't wait to read this now. That almost sounds like a joke to me
Edit: read it, when says festivals are less drugs and rock 'n roll and more about community now, I can't tell if he's saying it's better now or if it was better when it focused on drugs and rock because, in the rest of the article, he says that the fests shouldn't be about music

Like I said, it's a bizarre interview.
For sure thanks for sharing man, I'll be sure to consume too many drugs and be on the rail for his set to inform how I could care less if he actually plays or not
Just bought my ticket and reserved a hotel room. This shit is on mu'fuggas

I really hope they have a stage the size of the Boulevard one last year and put American Football on it. I loved that stage, because it got me closer to the love of my life (the singer of Phox)
maybe this year I will see some Inforoosters. Last year I only saw Hollie, and that on Friday night. I didn't go back the rest of the weekend because I was in a funk. Stupid, I know. I will try not to do that this year.
This will be my first time going and I was just curious...how many stages are there? Like two or three? How big is the venue? Because I just imagine it being kind of small

Last year there were four stages - two sets of two. The two big stages were side by side and the two smaller stages faced each other. Each set of two stages alternated so there were two acts playing at all times.
Different venue this year so I have no idea what the set up will be.
We're staying there, too. I reserved a room at the Hyatt Place a few days ago based on the tip about the shuttle from someone. We stayed near there for Shaky Knees last year at the W. One advantage of the Hyatt Place - there is a brew pub right next door (Max Lager's) for your pre- and post-show refreshment needs.
Cool! Are there any places to eat around there? We don't really drink beer, but anywhere with a full bar would be good!
In addition to their own beer, I believe Max Lager's had a full bar and full lunch and dinner menus so still seems like it could be a good option for you. Otherwise, I recall that 2-3 blocks south on Peachtree there is a mall and a number of restaurants.
Tickets purchased! $200 is a lot of money for me, but I couldn't resist this lineup.
The top 10 sets that I'm looking forward to (in order):
1. Tame Impala 2. Mac Demarco 3. Built To Spill 4. Panda Bear 5. Pixies 6. Black Lips 7. The Strokes 8. Spiritualized 9. Mastodon 10. Preservation Hall Jazz Band

At least you didn't have what happened to me. I finally grew a pair of balls and decided to buy the ticket... When I went to get on the site it was down because they were updating the price and stuff. SOOOOO close

Man, I wish they were up while I had the nerve. I just crunched the numbers and discovered I'd have to nuke my savings account and live off noodles for a couple of weeks to make it work.

I'm probably going to do it anyway.
Yeah, I'm going to Europe the week after this (I am actually bumping the eurotrip back a week just for shaky knees) and I get back from Europe the week before Roo. I'm going to be fucking poor and exhausted by the time I am done with Roo but it will be possibly the best month and a half of my life. I'm gonna struggle on affording it all, but shaky knees is every bit worth it for me just because of pixies and spiritualized alone, plus all the others
