Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Whatever floats your boat, but I think you may be the only person from inforoo doing that. Have you ever seen Tame Impala live? If not, I'm here to tell you they are flawless and amazing and I'm basing this off of back when their stage production wasn't so extravagant. So it'll be even better now with a stage setup deserving of their show
I have seen them live and enjoyed the show. I realize my views on this matter are not going to be shared by many people around here and am fine with that.
I just hope it doesn't turn into to groupthink like last year, where pretty much everyone agreed to leave. I know, I could have stayed, but I just ended up going with the group.

Really wish I could. Just saw the daily lineup released and single days go on sale soon. Part of me thought "I could fly down just for Saturday and Sunday" but I know I probably can't swing it. Such a good lineup for my tastes, though.

I'm really interested to see how this new location goes. I really enjoyed the location at Atlantic Station. It was easy to get to, parking was no problem, and it wasn't shady at all. From what I gathered, this new location is kind of on the border of Sketchville.

I really wish I could. If I get my act together soon I'll have a better idea if I would be able to but at this point I'm still trying to figure out Roo. I do want to hit up Shaky Knees at some point though. Always love the lineup.

Some things seem way off. Especially SAT. with NMH and Flogging Molly on the smaller stages. That's the only way I could make them fit without them playing way earlier. I think the format will be a lot different than previous years, because I can't make ti fit right. So I would expect more conflicts than usual for this fest.

I have never been to Shaky Knees, so let me make sure I got this right. In your mock, The Pixies and The Strokes would conflict with each other? Peachtree would be Mastodon -> The Strokes and Ponce de Leon would be Brand New --> The Pixies?

No, you got the stages/order correct BUT each day's headliner plays unopposed. The main stages, Peachtree and Ponce may don't conflict with each other. Every time one of those two stage has an act playing, there is an act playing on one of the smaller stages. So, Pixies will Conflict with James Blake

Gotcha.
Will bands be playing at the same time on Peachtree Stage and Piedmont Stage?

I feel like such a noob.
Never-mind. I got it.
This is all assuming the setup is the same as last year. They won't conflict because they're right next to each other and literally switch off. Right after one ends the next begins. No guarantee the setup is the same this year though with the new venue.
I think the reason Tame Impala is Sunday is because of another Beck fall through. He just announced somewhat of a South East tour to accompany Hangout without an ATL date. It could be because he came in July but still. I really hope they get Beck late but I doubt it.
I think you may be onto something. Who's to say that he fell through?
The dates line up too well. That would really be a hell of a surprise & a great way to say "sorry" for last years debacle.
"All in all, the creative act is not performed by the artist alone.. the spectator brings the work in contact with the external world by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds his contribution to the creative act." -- Marcel Duchamp

Don't get my hopes up like that.
Edit: I also say this because on the poster Ryan Adams is higher than Tame Impala and on the schedule, Tame Impala is higher so it doesn't make any sense to me why they would headline a night. I also don't think they're on the same level as Avett, Strokes or even Wilco. And last year if Beck happened, it would go National-Modest Mouse-Beck which would mean the biggest would be last kind of like in 2013. Idk, maybe I'm overthinking.
I can't help but think of the possibility that they will have dueling headliners this year. I am usually horrible at gauging how popular acts are, but the top two each day seem to be about the same size. The schedule also seems like it would be too congested during the afternoon and evening. I would hate having to choose between the Pixies and the Strokes, but I'm a big boy and can make a decision. Especially, if it helps free up conflicts throughout 3 days of the fest. IDK, just a thought.

I'm not sure you can assume this year's format will follow last year's. Last year, there were 19 bands each day. This year, there are 24-25. If I had to guess, you're not going to be choosing between just two bands playing the same exact time slot.
