Ok, so I was in the same boat, but I went on my ticket master and to my surprise, I found that I had already purchased a tivket to shaky knees, which I had/have NO recollection of doing, haha. It was like getting a free ticket because I was thinking I was gonna have spend $215 this week on the ticket. But it turns out, the only thing I have left to do money wise is collect money from friends for the hotel room. I'm soooo happy I already have spent all the money for this and the only spending I have left will be on the trip/during the trip

Soooooo, I am volunteering at Shaky knees this year. I'm stoked but i am also a bit nervous. I have been to 3 festivals (Bonnaroo 14, music Midtown, and Voodoo) but I have never volunteered to work at a festival. It is easy to look up info about Volunteering at Bonnaroo and other big name festival but I am having trouble finding Info about Shaky knees. If I could get as many tips or general info about volunteering at shaky knees that would be much appreciated. Things like Food, security (how heavy), alcohol, VIBE, parking, etc....

Hey Shaky Knees crowd. This festival was actually at the top of my list of festivals to go to this year, until I realized my own personal wedding might conflict (May 10th). I was online looking at flights and hotels and then I was like.... wait a minute, that date looks awfully familiar.
Promise this will be the only post, but my fiancé and myself have two more days of voting to win a wedding at a concert w/Hozier, Of Monsters and Men, Walk the Moon, Death Cab for Cutie, Passion Pit, Awolnation and Vance Joy.
We are top in views for our video submission, but have no clue on actual votes so if any of you can take the minute it takes to toss a vote our way it'd be incredibly appreciated. Any last minute schedule predictions before it drops? Since Sweetwood confirmed the basic idea of the layout this year

My my last minute prediction is that this fest/weekend is going to be filled to the brim with amazing shows but Spiritualized at Terminal West on Saturday night will be my favorite show of the weekend

Yeah I mean that he confirmed there'll be 5 stages, 2 areas, and the same alternating sets system as last year
Hey guys, this is going to be my first time at the Shaky Knees festival. I'm to this festival then right after driving to alabama for the Hangout Fest (3rd year going) with 2 friends.
I know I'm a bit late but I've yet to book anywhere to stay for the Shaky Knees fest. Do you guys think there are any hotels/motels in walking distance still left? Recommend any motels/hotels?
I don't know if this has already been posted but here's the RSVP link for the Lightning Bolt show. My understanding with these Red Bull Sound Select shows is you MUST RSVP to get in and an RSVP doesn't necessarily guarantee admission. The good news is it's only $3 if you do get in.

But the date of the fest was also one day later... I can't remember what day of the week they released the lineup but I know last year they released the schedule on a Tuesday. So, releasing on Tuesday is the trend with all of their announcements (as it often is with fests) I think we will get the schedule on the 15th (next Tuesday)

I'm just happy I didn't make the comparison until today, otherwise I would've been stalking my computer all day yesterday waiting for the lineup, haha. All good though, just means next week is gonna exciting because I think we will get the Shaky Knees schedule on Tuesday and I believe Roo will continue the Wednesday info release trend (with a few stage acts this time.) Anyway, just another reason to look forward to!
