Last yr was a crapshoot. That was why I wanted to keep this thread going so much. We will have to op to swap with others. For God's sake hope they are dependable. I would like for all us vols on here to keep in semi-touch in case situations arise like that of you Tareq*. Karen is forgiving, I wore her out last yr.

Dude, I seriously can't concentrate on anything but bonnaroo right now. . .It's to the point where I'm poking myself in the eye with foreign objects. . . I think I just need to be sedated until Tuesday. . . . Dystopian Dream
Me and the boy will be willing to swap too...my only request is not during MSTRKRFT and Tiesto please! We should maybe plan a meetup on Wednesday so that we can all get together, hang out and compare shifts. Anybody interested?

We should def get together on Wednesday! Not sure how the easiest way to find each other would be-- but maybe some time before the orientation meeting?? I want to explore the grounds and take some pics before the masses get there, too. If any one else is up for some exploring, let me know!

No worries, we will! So, someone who has volunteered in the past...is there a good area that's easily recognizable that we can meet up at? I'm assuming we wont be able to get into Centeroo at that point so what's a good place for us to meet?
Yeah, a meetup is a great idea!!!! It doesn't look like volunteer camping is all that huge, so maybe it will be easy to spot each other. We should just wander around saying "corncat"
Guess that makes me a Sophomore, . If it is set up like last yr there was only one main entrance/exit into staff area. Before you exied there were showers set off to the far left and potties on your right as you walked out. We could meet in front of the showers are a prescribed time (give or take 30 min). I'll try to figure out how to get a dang pic on here sooner or later. I am very puter illiterate. If not I'll post the day before my of attire for the day and a brief description of self. Or we could go the corncat route. Someone will have to PM me sometime on what all that's about. Mike, who is your buddy? Is it Kristen?

I'm definitely up for a meet up on weds prior to the orientation! It shouldn't be too hard to find each other! I'm planning on being there early praying i dont get turned away for my little camper! But I know to look out for the blue veedub bus of Dreas, the old man in his green pickup! jk David!

My bus should be pretty easy to spot and I plan on getting there as early as possible. I'd be more than happy to "host" a meet and greet if we can't think of a better spot before then.

Well, looks like our messages posted during the "Great Fire" never made it back thru the wormhole. Anyhow, I'd hope we can all meet-up sometime before the orientation and talk about possible swaps, then those that want to can tour the place. I'd love to see it prior to the masses.

^^Yuppers-- I plan on leaving my hotel in M'boro at the crack of dawn to get to Manchester as early as possible. My dream scenario has me with my tent set up, neighbors met, and maybe even a bit of a nap before 11am (who am I kidding, I'll be way too stoked to nap : )
So maybe a pre-orientation meet up (around 2:30 or so, to grab some food, drinks--or maybe even earlier if we'd like to explore the grounds before orientation), and then we can take care of any swaps afterward. Or would it make *more* sense to meet up *after* orientation?? Hmm. . . let me know what you guys think--I'm still willing to "host" it.

Ahh, you're sweet to host. I have plans to be at ck-in as close to 8 as I can. Should be easy my brain and body will be on EST, so it'll feel like 9. I had contemplated a nap too. I can meet up handle before or after. In case of another fire, my email is smokingun2004@yahoo.com. How many of you are intending to do the inforoo brunch, that may be another detail to figure out.
Well, me and the boy won't be there until around 11 or so, probably. I am okay with a meetup at Dream's place....2:30 or so sound okay? Then we can all go to the orientation together. Once we get our assignments, we can swap whatever, and go tour the place? I think that's a good plan.
I plan to attend the inforoo brunch, as long as I don't have to work! Hopefully that works out...
I have no clue what time Ashley and i will get there. We are leaving delaware hopefully between 9 and 10 pm on tuesday. We might be cutting it close. I think we'll be fine
