my top pee break song is usually whatever the second song in set 2 is, so long as it's nothing crazy*. in most venues at that time i can get to the bathroom and back in minutes and i avoid the set break bathroom crush. i usually spend set break chilling or going to the phellowship meeting if it's easy to find. for a specific song it's Divided Sky. which is a song i love but it's one i've heard a bunch and its composed and it's so easy to get to the bathroom and back before it gets really good.
still almost nothing out there re: summer tour. vague talk of the gorge in july and alpharetta the first weekend of august, maybe deer creek dates. i'd expect an announcement of some kind either next week or the following week. there's a guy over at PT posting scoops but he's full of shit.
no fall dates is possible since they did fall dates last year and tend to only do that every other year. so i'd think dover > dicks labor day > msg nye.
i don't think they'll ever take a break/hiatus again because it's not like they are playing a ton of shows as it is, so they don't really need a vacation from it. and they won't retire until one of them is unable to play anymore (imo). and you'll never have a phish & co situation. for better or worse phish is just those four guys.
* - which just reminded me, i fully intended to run to the bathroom set two of NYE. they open with DWD and in my head i thought "OK so nothing crazy happening this set yet, i'll just wait for the next song before heading to the bathroom". then of course the harpua oom-pa-pa started lol so i didn't make it to the bathroom. sorry if i already told this story.

I don’t ever take bathroom breaks during shows. The closest thing I can think of is we’ll usually leave early because we know Clutch is ending with Electric Worry, but they don’t do that every show like they did for years.
Yayy glad you don’t think they are ending anytime soon or would ever replace a member. That’s funny I’ve seen divided sky twice now and def peed during the early part of that song. I’m a big 555 go pee break song too. I really like the second song of the 2nd set pee rule going forward.
3 night Alpharetta is my hope, it’ll be easier on my pto and body than phest. Still might do fest but depending on summer tour.

Fall 1997 aka "Phish Destroys America" is widely considered to be one of their best tours. The 1998 "Island Tour" shows (all on Spotify) are also goat.

I’ve listened to the first two nights. Both were great. Def will have to listen to last nights today. Wave of Hope the night before was like 35 min tbh that entire second set was awesome.
These suck for me personally. Five NE dates within easy reach and they all happen to fall when I'm out of town with the family on vacation. Liked the rumor of Mohegan in August so much more.

The most realistic dates for me are Grand Rapids as long as the flights aren’t too expensive. Have a bunch of friends and family there so lodging would be free.

Phish will embark on a 26-date Summer Tour (including their 4-day Mondegreen Festival) this July, August, and September. The Summer Tour begins July 19 with three shows in Mansfield, MA, and continues with multi-night runs in Uncasville, East Troy, St. Louis, Noblesville, Grand Rapids, and Bethel, culminating with the band’s annual Labor Day weekend tour closer in Commerce City, CO.
A ticket request period is currently underway at tickets.phish.com, ending Monday, March 11 at Noon ET. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 15 at 10AM ET. Specific ticketing information for each show is available at phish.com/tours.

there is some scuttlebutt about alpharetta fall dates though. would be nice to see shows there when it's not blazing hot.
Yeah I saw a rumor for Alpharetta for October and that would be super cool but usually fall tour dates haven’t panned out in the few years I’ve been following them. I also might be missing phish this year. Might try and swing Deercreek since it’d be less pto than fest and about the same drive.

Noblesville dates work best for me I think. Might try lotto for seats or pit
i’m an hour south of indy so i’m putting in for lotto for a 3 day pass and i might camp. if that ends up being your only phish stop let me know because i’m very excited for that run but i don’t know anyone in my area that likes phish enough to do 3 days haha. i’m dragging my dad and a couple friends to see them at the sphere but that’s because they want to see the sphere like anyone else does and i was lucky enough to get tickets
