bought 4 day pass in sec 301 row 2 last night for slightly below face after all stubhub fees. i'm not complaining but it feels weird getting a great deal in a desirable section with so little effort. there is another one available, same section same row same price. guess somebody just wants to dump their tickets fast.

well the seller just transferred this to my TM account. pretty cool.
i know it's not most people's first choice for a section but i'm still surprised, there is definitely a dedicated contingent of people that go for these 300 level and/or chase bridge seats.
anyway i'm still going to try public on sale today just for fun. good luck to anyone trying! 11 central 12 eastern.
MSG seat cheat sheet:
floor - policed pretty strictly so it won't be overcrowded but it's still the floor, it'll be crowded 100s - all fine. this includes 100s behind the stage which rock 200s - fine up until roughly row 14 or so (varies depending on section), at which point you start being behind chase bridge which can mess up the sound (i've never sat up there it's just what i've read) 300s/chase bridge - smaller sections, easier bar/bathroom access, but way up high close to the ceiling so you feel removed from the action and sound isn't as impactful as lower down sec 1/2/3 - probably the best view/sound in the venue, but the seats are folding chairs and packed in there tight. people love this section but trust me by song three it will be swarming with wooks and bros swimming through rivers of spilled beer. 400s - front row here is neat, wouldn't want to sit in any other row. especially that last row you might as well be in new jersey.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Only ever seen them at Bonnaroo (12 and 19) but considering hitting up one of the Dayton shows. If I’m only doing one night of a two night stand, is there a general consensus in the fandom for N1 vs N2?
fandom consensus is go to both shows. but more seriously it doesn't matter, just choose whatever show works best for your schedule or whichever show you can get better / cheaper tickets for.
For only the second time, I have won lottery for NYE. Section 2!!!
Sec 2 wow congrats! I think demand is definitely a little softer this NYE. Last year I got completely shut out of lotto and public on sale, this year I had my selection of (mostly) shitty seats in the public on sale.

2009 had festival 8 and bonnaroo, but 2009 was a weird time with insanely high demand for phish. 2011 superball ix, no other festivals 2015 magnaball, no other festivals 2018 curveball, no other festivals
2024 will probably be april res at sphere, then a run of shows starting in mid july leading up to Dover Fest, dicks, no fall shows, then NYE.
