Ok that still sounds like to me Tweezer and Reprise should probably be a joint thing?
Like I know they'll play stuff in between the two, etc. but would they ever do one without the other in a show?
I just saw a show on livephish that opened set 1 with Reprise and ended set 1 with reprise and no Tweezer played. I’d say be crazy and double reprise but no Tweezer with Tweezer Reprise.
Only group of songs I’d say The Oh Kee Pa Ceremony and Suzy Greenberg. Mikes song and Weekapaug Groove I feel are usually played together.
Obvy 3post1jack1 knows best but from my few years of being a fan booii

Ok I'm leaning toward just draft both of whatever pair now/no double dipping. Might be fine just having some curveballs. Like in the Gizz draft I couldn't draft Fourth Colour to pair with Crumbling Castle but I liked what I ended up with as a different vibe.

Thinking of treating covers as draftable if they've played the song at least three times. But in the bonus round, drafters can take novel covers that haven't been played before or only rarely. How does that sound?
Take away the Mikes Song comment lol they played Prince Caspian after it tonight
…and then some other stuff and then they came back around to Weekapaug as they usually do.
While we’re on the topic of tonight’s setlist, “Broken Into Pieces” is a very bad song. If they don’t wisely retire it quickly, it will become one of my bathroom songs (which I actually welcome).

Last night’s show was fantastic. Then I got four hours of sleep and instantly dreaded the idea of getting only four hours of sleep again tonight. So I gave up my ticket for tonight’s show. I hope it sucks.

My sources tell me it unfortunately did not suck.
haven't listened but the dot net show notes look great:
Trey quoted I Am the Walrus in Egg in a Hole and said Mike was the walrus. Trey referred to Mike as "the Eggman" in the Possum intro.

I'll be there tomorrow night for sure. Might see if there are any cheap tickets available for tonight too depending on how my day goes

I really hesitated telling Pitchfork this, but we were going to Phish concerts and doing that whole thing too. I got into them because of Colleen O’Brien, my best friend John O’Brien’s older sister—she was a senior when we were freshmen. She had a poster for Phish’s A Live One in her bedroom and was playing that song “Reba”—“Bag it, tag it, sell it to the butcher in the store.” It was like, “Oh are these guys trying to be funny?” By that point I was the biggest Talking Heads fan, and the biggest thing that drew me to David Byrne was that I thought he was really funny. The thing that turns off some people about Phish is their lyrics. And the scene. But it was like, “Oh, these guys are dorks. They like The Simpsons, they’re of this time, they have a lot of influences, and they’re phenomenal musicians.” I saw them again recently for the first time in 20 years, and it was the best.
