I'd be curious to hear how much the food/drinks were?
$20 for nine tokens ($2.22/token). Most food was around 4-6 tokens. I only purchased two bratwursts and a beer in the Belgian café, and spent 14 tokens. Waters and small bags of chips were going for two tokens.
The token thing threw us at first, but essentially 20 bucks bought you 9 tokens. Food costs 3-7 tokens depending on the vendor. Yes the pizza was 5 tokens so $10 plus...water was free at every freshpoints, but cold bottles were 2 tokens. I will say, there was only one thing our group got all weekend that wasn't spectacular, and even that was still finished.
The tokens limited the amount of cash you had to take in, and the amount of cash the vendors had to deal with. Less risk of theft for the vendors. I just wish you could buy individual tokens instead if having to buy 9. But from the fest perspective, it guarantees that money is spent there and not elsewhere.
Ended up getting a Saturday pass last second and real glad I did. Had a blast despite the fact that the lineup was underwhelming to my personal tastes.
Wish I would have taken a camera...all I had was my cellphone, which died after Friday. Anywho, this is the only thing I have been able to find on the dumb fuck who climbed that structure.
Just so glad he survived...I was scared for his life because there were times when he was coming down that it seemed he got stuck, and he almost tripped a couple times.
I hope that Tower bro (giggity) took a camera with him up there. That would have been the best picture ever. Look for more half-deads to start doing this at fests. It's not going to end well.
I guess, more than anything, I really just want to see some good pics of this fest. Somebody help me out here.

Wish I could help with pix. I only took my cell phone, that didn't last me very long. Most of what I took was just shoot and put in pocket w/o actually looking at what I took. Most of my pix are pretty blurry.

I think he was tripping on the way up and just as much, if not more, as on the way down.

Thank for the review link Doug G! Also damn I'd love to see some pics! I'm not huge into EDM but I love a good fest. After reading the review I'm definitely going next year. Sounds like to much fun to miss out on.

While I do enjoy some EDM, I am not the biggest fan of the genre as a whole. I am just a lover of good vibes/people and festivals. I was originally going to to do EDC Chicago, but plans fell through, so TomorrowWorld was my back up. I am so glad that the EDC thing didn't work out, because TomorrowWorld was just amazing. As said before, the production was just incredible. With the exception of two, each stage was beautifully designed. Of course there was the Main Stage which was the books. The Q Dance stage was a giant scorpion. The stage where Claude VonStroke played had a mid-east vibe. One stage had all kinds of mushrooms hanging from the top, and another had gigantic butterflies. I know pix would be helpful, and I would love put some up, unfortnately, I don't have any...except for a few blurry ones taken with my phone. Running along the length of the campgrounds was what my friends and I called the yellow brick road, but it was actually just a bunch of plyboards. I could go on, but my words do no justice for the Shangri La that is TomorrowWorld. I will def be back next year!
TomorrowWorld was great! The biggest thing I took away from that festival was the mad positive vibes going around, many people contributing to the experience. Anyways here's some photos....First up, here's a map of the venue, aerial view at night and bubbles during the day.
