Hey just so you guys know Tomorrowland uses a picture registration process much like Glasto to sell their tickets.
There is one major difference though. The picture has to be a full body shot and they use it to determine if you are young and beautiful. Only those deemed model or near model quality are given an opportunity to buy tickets.
Don't believe me? Watch the video again and find me one ugly person. Sorry folks but you all are out
I plan on having a stand in. Nicole Kidman has agreed. We are chums.

Tell her to wear make-up. I have seen her in person without it and did not look good at all.

Who is on your wish list? Some of these are probably obvious, but I'm hoping for: Daft Punk The Chemical Brothers Kraftwerk Jamiroquai The Men M83 Moby Fatboy Slim Big Gigantic

I'm easily more excited about this festival than any other festival this year, including Coachella and Bonnaroo.
Also, Counterpoint's facebook is pretty great right now. I love all the people who are framing it like Counterpoint was some scruffy underdog festival that is being ran out of town by the big money hungry Eurofest.

and i love how since I enjoy the music of Skrillex, then i automatically am assumed to enjoy all pop-EDM acts, when in reality, its quite the opposite.

Um.....The Men?
Sure. Why not? They are noisy and instrumental enough to get in like an M83 or Washed Out did at CounterPoint this year.
This isnt counterpoint haha. There likely wont be any of the jamtronica or hip-hop that we saw at counterpoint. id be really surprised if ANY live bands like M83 or Crystal Castles were on the lineup.
Guess I better start working my tutu fingers to the bone to pay for this exorbitant ticket.
Miss Mayo, have you ever considered bringing your tus TO a festival to roam the campgrounds and sell? I think the TomorrowWorld crowd would be inclined to purchase them in mass quantities.

I don't think there is a plane or ship made that could carry double Phi.
Just spoke to my uncle, he put in a bid yesterday to do the backstage catering for TomorrowWorld. If he gets it that means free access pass for me, crossing my fingers!

I have thought about bringing them TO Bonnaroo. I just dont want to get in trouble for selling without a permit or whatever. But you are totally right, I could absolutely do this for TomorrowWorld. Last year at Counterpoint, I traded the Tutu I had on for a fancy blinking LED headband. Totally worth it.

I am hoping that my attendance is not contingent with the lineup for this fest. I want to go because, despite most of the music, Tomorrowland has been a fest dream of mine for a few years and I missed Echo and had to pull the plug on Counterpoint last year. And, 21+ is awesome news and that alone will have me make sure my schedule is free that weekend.
If the production value looks like it is going to be a good reflection of Tomorrowland, I will be there. If it looks like Counterpoint with a Tomorrowland-esque lineup, count me out. If it looks like Tommorrowland with a Counterpoint-esque lineup, I would be thrilled, but I know that's not going to be the case.
Just a thought: those who are banking on the visual aspect of the festival matching that of Tomorrowland before you commit, how would you know until you get there?

I wouldn't, which is why I hope for frequent updates via twitter, websites and facebook or whatever. If it looks like the lineup is skimpy - I imagine the rest of the fest will be as well. If they bring in big names - they will need big stages and lots of promo to move the number of tickets they need to sell.
I'd have to imagine that if they are officially making it sound like Counterpoint was the warmup for this event, that TomorrowWorld would/should be in different tier as far as festival hierarchy. I think the lineup will have an affect on my decision whether I go or not, but I don't want it to. It will be more about spectacle for this one for me rather than my musical tastes. As Phi has said, the range within the Tomorrowland lineups has been more diverse than what the promo videos would make the average person believe and hopefully I could discover a lot of new stuff I don't know about yet.

Reputation, I would say. Tomorrowland is a festival that brings 180k people, and they have seemingly built a lot of hype around them expanding to another country. They're not just going to softball it in there just to make a couple bucks.
