Soooooo stoked for this. One of the real awesome surprises of the lineup for me. He better be a LN. I can't see him NOT being one, but then again I said the same about SBTRKT last year. Can't believe how low down he is on the lineup too

ha, beat me to creating the four tet thread with youtube videos. so many happy memories attached to the time i was first really into four tet. i'm still a bit shocked and delighted; i rarely get my pet favorite electronic acts at bonnaroo. it's slowly happening...now i just need vitalic '14 and for mouse on mars to come back for the first time since '05.
four tet absolutely needs to close out a tent latenight; it's so obvious it's stupid - four tet is the ultimate comedown music. although of course i can't whine about him opening a LN tent just as long as it means he's LN.
Anyone else notice his last 2 albums have dissapeared from Spotify?
Now I have I actually wouldn't be that opposed to a Four Tet daytime set since I had such an amazing time at SBTRKT last year. It would probably mean less conflicts, even though a LN would be a great show.

So very excited to see Four Tet! It was probably one of my favorite surprises on the lineup today. Even if it were a daytime show, I would still be down. I was kinda hoping for mogwai to be LN but I had a blast at their day show.
Honestly I'm not expecting him to get a late night but I really want it. There's a decent amount of EDM this year, and unless they all get LNs someone's gonna have to play during the day and Four Tets music isn't really rage your face off sh*t

I cant wait for this. Four Tet has been on my short list of favorite producers since around 2007. He's a huge influence to me. I FINALLY saw him live last year, and it was great. It can only be better at bonnaroo.
I wouldn't worry. No way Four Tet doesn't get a LN.
After SBTRKT last year you really can't be too sure. I could definitely see him playing in a similar spot as SBTRKT or !!!. It is likely that he'll play LN, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up

I think SBTRKT and Four Tet are two totally different animals. I still don't see SBTRKT as a strictly night time act. His music is just as much about soul then it is about electronica. I saw him at Coachella at night but I still prefered his daytime roo set honestly. Many of you feel that SBTRKT during the day was a mistake and I'm sure you aren't that only ones. They won't make the same "mistake" twice.

Flylo is definitely the act I'd most compare Four Tet too (out of the electronic acts we've had recently I mean) and they put flylo right where he belonged.
