Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"
Grimes too. Saw she is gonna be at Sasquatch, Kanrocksas and Electric Forest so maybe? (empire of the sun is also playing all of those so hopefully they'll tag along too)

Vampire Weekend is a big possibility with a break from May 29 - June 22. Really hope we get foxygen or cloud nothings to make up for the lack of jam bands!

I think Perpetual Groove just announced tour dates didn't they? Pretty underrated jam act.
Pgroove announced they are breaking up and their last show is Friday night. Pretty sure we are not going to get them this year. Keller Williams as a jam add would make me pretty happy, and he could sit in with all the bluegrass stuff as well.
Edit nvm he is busy

lolwut?
I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he was trying to say "I hope we get these bands I like, since we're not getting many jam bands (which I also like)". I don't think he was trying to say that those bands are also jam bands.

Ha, I was wondering if that's what he meant. I hope so.
On a related note, I would love if both those bands are there, especially Cloud Nothings!

Yes please to Grimes. She was my most disappointing exclusion from the initial drop.

I believe Gabfab/Barfbag/Sasha confirmed no Grimes at Roo this year or at least it was doubtful. I hope I'm wrong though.

I've been thinking about the artist additions today and wanted to know what you guys think. Do the artist additions come as an attempt to garner more sales after a slump from the original release? I assume with all festivals and regular shows this would be the case. Does a lack of sales or an abundance of sales affect the additions? Would Bonneroo be more likely to add artists sooner if the sales are slow? Would they be more prone to add bigger name acts if the sales are slow? Just wondered what everyone here thinks.

For a multi-million dollar operation there is zero doubt whether a large portion of their timing of releases has to do with ticket sales.. Creates PR, adds more fans, gets existing ones talking again. Internally they will have their sales by volume numbers and after 10+ years this would be more of a science than an art I'd imagine. Meaning I bet they have some seriously accurate sales data trends they can analyze after this much time with this high of volume of ticket sales.
I just want some bands to be added...at this point, i will take Unchained again...just list some damn additions already!!!
BLASPHEMY! I expect more from you Pondo!
I know I know...I had just come back from Disney and had been driving 15 hours straight and had hoped for additions...I am sorry. I will never mention Unchained again. Thanks for bringing me back to reality Katbur!!!!!

I have always felt that additions were meant to generate more buzz (kind of like not blowing all your load at once) and it helps some people on the fence go to the farm and it helps generate excitement while other wait for June.
