Does anyone know how the Iheartradio bonnaroo station works? They have been playing the artists that are going this year and lately they have been playing some artists that aren't on the lineup. Examples being citizens cope and ray lamontagne. Anyone think these could be some additions?

I don't listen to it (I stick with Spotify) but I'm guessing they're branching out to previous years artists. Looking at their websites real quick though and looks like nothing scheduled then though. Who knows...

Citizen Cope would be a great band to see on the farm.
Also: Ray Lamontagne and I have very similar singing voices.

Yes.
I would be happy with one of Citizen Cope or Atlas Genius.
I wish I could go but I'll be starting up my first semester of college so it'll probably be extremely difficult.
You clearly don't know how college works yet. If you're like most people you'll have another 6 years or so to make it up. No worries.
Haha that's what I'm saying.. It's labor day weekend, too. So you'll have monday off. Just let the temptation pull you!!! We got all of our goodies (and yes i mean ALL of them) confiscated on the way in last year and STILL had an amazing time!
Why have bonnaroo yet to get George Clinton and Parlement Funkadelic ever ! They are probably not a super expensive band to get, and a great get for the lineup.

Haha no I meant flat broke. My wallet is already running on fumes and with Bonnaroo and no job, I don't think I'll have anywhere near the funds to make a trip to NYC from Alabama.
So James McCartney is playing in Knoxville right before bonnaroo and is part of the initial lineup for outside lands, think he joins papa Paul on stage, gets his own set or chillaxes on the chill vibes?
It's not necessarily next week, but it sure ain't today.
Even tho it goes against the Roo vibe, the late additions delay is really starting to piss me off. If this drags on 2 more days then I am going to skip Reptars set just out of spite.
I agree. I'm trying to remain chill and just be excited about another 'Roo, but summer concert tickets are going up for sale right now and the line-up of Bonnaroo influences what other festivals and concerts I will be attending. I would be annoyed to buy tickets for say, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, only to have them show up at Roo the week before or the week after. And since I'm in Louisville, any show coming through here and Bonnaroo would be one right after the other. I like seeing the same band twice, but not like that.

i'm gonna go on the record saying we are NOT gonna get YYYs or Vampire Weekend (much to my dismay). Here's my guesses for probables as well as my hopefuls
Probables/Maybes: Deerhunter Youth Lagoon Surfer Blood Savages Smith Westerns Dillon Francis Red Baraat Disclosure Black Moth Super Rainbow Polyphonic Spree Houndmouth Mayer Hawthorne Unknown Mortal Orchestra Andrew WK Kurt Vile Wavves Yo La Tengo Tennis Flume Cloud Nothings Sinkane Solange
Hopefuls (but probably not happening..): Empire of the Sun Cut Copy Yeasayer Frank Ocean Autre Ne Veut TNGHT Andy Stott Scissor Sisters Rhye Toro y Moi CHVRCHES How to Destroy Angels Desapericidos Jamie Lidell James Blake My Bloody Valentine (one can dream) Sparks Autechre Simian Mobile Disco
Basically my dreams will come true if any of the above show up, esp. Empire of the Sun, HtDA, James Blake, SMD, or Cut Copy (and obv MBV but let's face it, that ain't happening). I could see Yeasayer being added bc they just played coachella and are playing Outside Lands in August.
I hate this stupid speculation boo-hockey, give us the damn additions already before we have a collective stroke.
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"

So you guys realize that Slightly Stoopid will be close to the biggest addition we get other than some random, oddball act, right?
Basically meaning don't expect something like Yeah Yeah Yeahs at this point, cause that money's been spent.
If anything, find optimism in the remaining acts this EDM tent will be filled with.
If someone wants another bit of evidence on this, look at the bonnaroo365 youtube leak on Slightly Stoopid. The list on the right side of the page is listed in line-up order, and Slightly Stoopid is the only new act listed. It stands to reason therefore that any other act added will be listed below Gov't Mule on the line-up. Of course, there is always the chance that they are messing with people a little, but it's a pretty small chance.
It's not exactly in the same order of the lineup, but I do agree all the adds will be in the same or a lesser tier as slightly stoopid.
I have the original line-up tacked up right by my monitor. The only difference I see is the 365 doesn't have the bluegrass superjam listed.
An interesting (though improbable) idea is that Slightly Stoopid was booked but dropped out before the lineup dropped. If the background matches the order of the original lineup and not the current one (I haven't checked, can't get to youtube at work) then it would stand to reason that the background was made prior to the lineup release. Now I don't think this is the case, but it's something to keep those pipe dreams going.

Good point. That is the only thing that has bothered me about the Slightly Stoopid add is that I have not seen if anyone has noticed when it actually appeared. I have only seen where someone noticed that it was there. I wish they listed just one more artist there because Gaslight Anthem came right after Gov't Mule on the initial. If they were still listed, we'd know they hadn't updated it in a while.

I don't think so. It wouldn't be hard at all for their graphics department to modify the lineup and then re-upload the background to YouTube. Unless they're just that lazy.
I was never hopeful in the first place, but I'm bored. Heres some info on a few i just looked up. Jon Spencer Blues Explosion won't be there considering tour dates for the 14-15-16th, The Men will be in Nadhville April 30th, but do have an opening on their tour schedule after playing Northside festival in Brooklyn June 13, The London Souls play nashville April 22nd, and have a big gap between Denver on June 1st and Alpharetta GA, June 20th. Thee Oh Sees will be in Europe after Coachella, but have a big gap between Paris May 26 and Calgary19-23rd (thee oh sees LOVE Calgary for some reason, thank god) then back to Europe.
Not really hopeful for any of this, like I said, I'm bored, these are just a lot of what I've been listening to lately, and felt like sharing. I don't feel like we really need anymore adds.

It seems possible, likely even. James is also playing the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville the Tuesday before Bonnaroo, which is famous for surprise guest appearances. I managed to snag a reservation for that night with a very slight hope that Paul joins James for a minute or at least appears, given Paul's Friday set at Bonnaroo.
