I think the idea of just having a single tent with all the electronic music that would have there anyway and having a whole separate thing for electronic music (like Lunar stage or Sahara or whatever) has gotten things kind of confused.
It's a good thing there is no chance of Macca and EOTS conflicting. I honestly don't know what I would do. Actually, I would probably buy tickets to Macca's Memphis show and skip his 'Roo show.

I'm really happy that they are adds I'm interested in and could catch if I want but nothing mindblowing that would force me to miss another artist's show. I've got enough acts I need to see already...adding more would lead to tons of conflicts.

was hoping for youth lagoon and unknown mortal orchestra, guess I'll have to settle for animal liberation orchestra. Everything else I don't really care about.
I would expect a few more additions. They're going to have a hell of a time filling out that EDM tent with what they have.
Dude. Stop. You keep saying "EDM tent," when Capps has only referred to it as "electronic." Please refer to Moogfest/Mountain Oasis for Capps/Superfly's idea of "electronic." Highly unlikely that it's Bonnaroo's equivalent of the Sahara or Perry's.
Empire of the Sun, Beach House, Wolfgang Gartner, Boys Noize, Porter Robinson, Matt & Kim, A-Trak, Conspirator, Holy Ghost, Paper Diamond, Purity Ring, Araabmuzik, Four Tet, Death Grips, Wild Nothing, Ariel Pink, Charli XCX are all acts I could see fitting in there, with the more purely "EDM" stuff being later at night. But that's 17 acts. 6 per day sounds about right. I think you're getting a few more (since I think some of these are Thursday bands as well), but I really don't think they're going to drop the Lunar Stage lineup on you, especially since its been made clear that this is NOT a new stage, just a repurposing of one of the old ones. Hell, Pretty Lights, Passion Pit and The XX all fit the bill as well, but I think they're all too big for a tent.
I might be wrong, and they might suddenly announce 5-10 more strictly EDM names, but I really don't see it happening. The lineup is overloaded as is.
My sincerest apologies. Sorry I got you all butt-hurt about this.
However, still no announcement about the "re-purposed" tent so I'll keep expecting ads.

Besides maybe a few DJs for the Silent Disco, I'm pretty sure that we are good to go people. The lineup just looks massive. And amazing as well. Suuuuper excited for the Empire of the Sun add! I need to bring my feather headdress now
Disappointed. The bands I do know, I am pretty indifferent to, except for Royal Thunder who I like alright. I guess I can check some of them out, but chances are my schedule will already be filled with other groups that were already on the line-up that I like better.
