Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Go ahead, everyone, let 'em fly. I'm a little busy at the moment so it might be a while before I get a chance to compile votes and put consensus in the first post.
Try to keep your votes to one (MAYBE two) albums per band. Let's see if we can get the whole lineup this time around. And feel free to argue amongst yourselves.
I'll start with
Paul McCartney - Good Evening New York City (A live album of what is basically his current show) Trombone Shorty - Backatown Kendrick lamar - Section 80 Local Natives - Gorilla Manor Gov't Mule - By a Thread

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
Forgot to mention, if you agree with someones pick, even if you think it's really obvious, quote it and say so, so I can figure out what everyone agrees about later.

Nice work, GL. I agree with all except the following:
ZZ Top | Fandango! Cat Power | You Are Free Wilco | Summerteeth and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Additions:
Paul McCartney | Flaming Pie Wings | Just do Wings Over America to get the whole live feel Beatles | Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper and The White Album and Revolver and Rubber Soul John McLaughlin | Extrapolation (solo), Bitches' Brew (with Miles), Birds of Fire (w/Mahavishnu) Billy Idol | Rebel Yell Wu-Tang Clan | Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) Baroness | Go in order of the three releases for best effect. So Red then Blue then Yellow and Green Vaccines | What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? Calexico | The Black Light and Garden Ruin Local Natives | Gorilla Manor - though Hummingbird as really grown on me Tom Petty | Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Damn The Torpedoes Tame Impala | Can't go wrong with either Lonerism or Innerspeaker Grizzly Bear | Veckatimest and Yellow House Foals | Total Life and Foals
These only have one proper LP for listening (mostly solid debuts)
Lord Huron Django Django Alt-J Father John Misty Walk the Moon HAIM (just an EP now I think with LP coming this year) Jim James (not getting into the MMJ thing here) Lumineers Of Monsters and Men

For ZZ Top you really need two starter albums because there are two distinct eras of the band that don't sound much like each other. There's the amazing Texas blues guitar band ZZ Top. For that, you need Tres Hombres. Then there's the much shittier synthesizer blues/pop band ZZ Top that, unfortunately, is responsible most of their hits. For that, you need Eliminator.
