this will be my first roo and I'm not sure how things work but it seems logical to me to ask someone from the forum that's doing groop camping if we could hold brunch at there site?
We still need to make sure they don't fence it in and give out special additional wristbands to tent only people and make it tent only people only! That would suck.
edit: I just sent bonnaroo and superfly an email asking whether we would be able to visit our friends in tent only. Lets see what they say. If they respond at all that is.

We should just do a flash mob style brunch. Somewhere like over in the wooded area. Have people just show up, each of us with chairs, and tables if we have them, then just all set up, and have the brunch in the middle of everything
We'll be in Access and would be happy to help "host" if we decide to do it there. Easy access, close to centeroo and easily navigable.
We'll be in access too. What area are you coming from? If we a few people in Access, coming the same direction, maybe we can meet up and come in together to be close, then take it over that way...

We're coming from the south. I don't feel like Access fills up too quickly so if we meet up at Wal-Mart on Wednesday and drive in at the same time we'll secure a pretty okay space.

I don't want this guy floating around in my mimosa

My dad is worried about who he's going to hang out with when we inevitably split up here and there (he has no desire to see any rap.) I'm hoping this brunch will solve that problem.

Making friends ar roo is like shooting fish in a barrel.
Now I want to watch the video of that guy freaking out about that expression.
Ticks are my nightmare too. Maybe it's because we're cityfolk? Haha.
No, it's because they carry Rocky mountain spotted fever and Lyme disease here in Tn.
That. Since I was raised in NJ near a reservation; deer ticks were common and Lyme disease too-- I think my fear derives from seeing someone with one of those crazy spots and a tick stuck in their flesh.

Yeah I remember reading about Lyme disease on a camping trip and being absolutely certain and terrified that I was going to get it.

Haha it may very well be because you are city folk, but know that out of all the ticks that my friends and I have ever gotten, (I've had dozens on me at once) only one friend has gotten Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and he is such a chickenshit artist, that he could have very well just had the flu. These Tennessee ticks are probably not going to bother you, and I've never gotten one at Bonnaroo. As far as brunch goes, why not just meet up at the camping spot closest to Centeroo or the camping spot in the middle of everyone?

There are a many of a new bruncher who no one has their phone number for; meeting new Inforoo folk is the best thing about it. Last year was my first brunch in my 6 years, and I almost gave up until I ran into abrakapokusDave Maynarpopsicle sarah

1) Space. Brunch has a b*tt ton of people. Even the space staked out at Tent Only ends up being claustrophobic because of the amount of people. It would take a good amount of people car camping together to make room for it. 2) Communication. Not everyone gets online at Bonnaroo. If it was left it to where someone was car camping, they would have to post where they ended up being parked. If people didn't check the board, they would have no idea where to go. Text trees and running into people could help spread the word, but lurkers and people with low posts counts that have not met everyone in real life would get left out since nobody knows their numbers or their faces in many cases.

The only problem I see with that could be space...I am not sure just how many people will do Access or be willing to have the Brunch at their campsite (I am on board for sure!)

I'm on board for having brunch take over our spot in Access. Let's discuss this on the Access board as Ellie suggested and report back here when we have some form of a tentative solution.

Last year I promised jambalaya and Boudin, but couldn't find the spot. It will be a lot easier walking down a row looking then searching through TO. But we need to have the best Idea we can about "where" before that Thursday if possible. I haven't been active on this thread to know what all has been suggested. Wont the group campers know their section before they arrive? If it was in someones group camping area, that would make it very easy to find.
