There has got to be a better way for them to do this. It's far from impossible to put together a set of servers that can handle this kinda load. I don't usually complain about stuff like this but after the clusterf*ck of last year you think they'd invest a little bit into making it go smoother.
Also people using 3 different browsers, you're not helping yourself or anyone else by using multiple browsers. All you are doing is slowing your connection down while simultaneously adding 3 different connection requests.

im in the waiting room, and each time it refreshes itself it loses something, and my friend says its completely stopped responding for him... and now it has for me too... totally kicked from the waiting room
