This is a fantastic Thursday lineup... but '08 will never be topped for me. Superdrag > What Made Milwaukee Famous > Battles > MGMT > (1/2 of) Vampire Weekend > Zach Galifianakis. Last year was pretty great too, though.
By the way, are Futurebirds the first band to play Thursday twice?
Every year I've been to the farm a Thursday night show ends up being one of my top 3 favorite shows of the weekend. MUTEMATH in '07, Vampire Weekend in '08, Miike Snow in '10, and Sleigh Bells in '11. I anticipate that will continue this year with the most stacked Thursday lineup yet! I'm expecting especially great things from Haim, Django Django, and Purity Ring.

Thursday this year blows last years out the water. Vacationer > Twenty One Pilots > Japandroids > Alt J > The Vaccines. This will probably be my favorite day.

Going to be a nice and buku busy Thursday for me.
Milo Greene -> Fast Fingers -> Walk the Moon -> Purity Ring's make her fall in love with me and my devastating dance moves set -> Late to Japandroids -> Alt-J -> Capital Cities' sweat f*cked dance party.
I'd like to duck out on Walk the Moon to go eat and hang out. Unfortunately I need a great spot for serenading at Purity Ring. My backpack is going to be heavy with sandwiches and my bottles flowing with hot piss. If ya see me say hi and I'll anoint ya with my excess.
Yeah, I agree, I haven't been this pumped for Thursday in a long time. Like others have said, this will probably be my favorite day. Great start to 'Roo!

my schedule for thursday looks like this: milo greene, 21 pilots, araabmusik, walk the moon , django django, then going to new music on tap for the night
Mine is so easy, and no conflicts. Full sets galore, and get to stay put for 3 sets in a row (thankfully after the sun has gone down. Bon Iver/Of Montreal/Decemberists almost killed us a few year back))
DIIV > wander for a bit and catch some new music and some Deap Vally > Django Django > Japandroids > Alt-J > Vaccines
As I said before, 3 of my top five are playing Thursday, and they are back-to-back-to-back!!!

Thursday looks pretty solid. For me I always have first day problems staying awake on Thursday, but I will definitely try to conserve some energy. I got 4 Definite bands I wanna see with Milo Greene, Deap Vally, Father John Misty, and Alt J.

What time do you usually get into Bonnaroo? I had that problem for two years when I was trying to come in overnight, but I was gold last year when I came in Wednesday instead.

My first year (2011) My crew made a rookie mistake got to Manchester around 5 am. Got caught in about 12 miles of traffic for about 5 hrs. Last year we got in at about 3 am and there was really no wait to get to security. We had camp set up by about 5am. Believe me if I could I would be at the gate when it opens but my crew's other committments is probably gonna have us arriving at Roo about 2-3 am after 10 hrs of driving.

Yeah, real world commitments make it hard sometime. I would suggest resting on the drive down if you can and/or napping once everything is set up. There is that urge to go adventure as soon as the last bit of camp is set up, but your night might go better if you sleep as much as you can before Centeroo gets rolling.
Edit: Either that or see the thread on energy drinks.

Yeah i was wondering if/when we would see his name drop. And what would happen afterwards. I was thinking they'd move maybe Capital cities or someone from the Cafe to the tent, but doubt that. Moving up everyone would be sweet but would still cause some conflicts. Any theories on what might happen?

I think 21 pilots is getting alot of attention I can see their set extending. Dont know if Walk the Moon has enough material to extend their show a little earlier. Wouldnt be a full 2 hour gap but I hear ya thered still be some downtime if he isnt able to make it. Either way im not in a big rush after Reno 911!
