I usually do the same routine every year. Drink Vitamin water, plus something with caffeine while getting up, getting ready. Go to the bathroom IN CENTEROO in the morning (Before it gets bad). Eat a big breakfast to power you until at least the late afternoon. Gatorade mixed with Malibu Rum is a perfect starter. Head to one of the tents, sit on the rail and rest until showtime.

You wake up in a pool of sweat because your tent turned into a sauna as the sun rose. Your body aches from the rave you were an active part of the night before. You are hungry, thirsty, still tired, and a bit cranky.
What do you do to get yourself ready to happily attack another full day on the farm?
Remember this on festival entry: 63deg ENE. That's where the Sun rises on the farm in early June.
I usually get a beer, and then find a shady place with good ventilation and go back to sleep.
People actually sleep at Bonnaroo? Psh.... Amateurs!
So THAT'S why I keep seeing you on Roo Sundays wearing your underwear on your head and speaking in gibberish. Here and all this time I thought you were just a Pentecostal.

Don't get me wrong, beer is awesome, but after a night of heavy partying/raving/etc I find a nice fat spliffywiffy(or 2 or 4) is quite easy on the body, and then you get hungry and eat and your body is even happier. Blaze up and lay in the shade at Centeroo. Enjoy the sounds and sights. Take your vitamins, etc etc.
Porto>baby wipes>chug some water/gatorade>bowl of corn>franzia>lounge/sleep>refill corn and franzia>go brush teeth and wash face>beer and corn>porto>leave for Centeroo
This will be the first year I am eliminating beers and a couple bites of a cob from my morning routine. It's been five good Roos rockin' that Rootine, but I'm hoping that if I eat some good healthy food, stay in the shade and drink PLENTY of fluids all day, I'll increase my late night endurance. Though I'm fearing it will also make the day a little tougher to get through. Those daytime beers are just so damn tasty.
RooVets -- What do you guys think would have a more negative effect on endurance? Morning beer? Or a bite or two from a morning cob?

Morning corn without some peas and carrots is just going to make you drag IMO. If anything ill catch a good buzz and then heat up the corn later in the day. Then ill eat my peas and carrots when the sun starts going down and again fire up the corn.
Edit: For a real freshener in the morning, get some fruit(literally). The water content and vitamins are great to kickstart the day.

From my experience, once you bite the cob, you generally have to continue eating sporadically throughout the day or else it can definitely put you down for a nap. As for the morning beers, I think a few to start the day followed by plenty of water and other fluids can do no harm for the late night endurance
What works "well" for me was to forgo the tent and only use an EZ-up awning type deal. What you lose in privacy, you gain in comfort. Letting the air circulate should let you sleep a little bit longer than the usual 'Roo wake-up time. I also find that some dope and a smoke usually helps too.

What is this "morning" you all speak of? Party late, insert ear plugs (into ears, no matter how funny you may think it is at 4AM to stick them in your nostrils), sleep late (off the ground, outside of a tent once it gets hot), rinse, repeat.
And yeah, hit the portos in Centeroo as early as possible, the farther back from the entrances the better, especially if you can make it in before the first shows of the day. Unless you're a spoiled fancy-pants and bring an RV, in which case you can still live like a first world person all week.
Or, as Norm McDonald said, "“Note to self: no matter how bad life gets, there's always beer."

Wake up, slam a Pedialyte, shotgun a beer with the crew, make some pancakes that come out of whipped cream looking can, couple more beers, beer pong, head in to centeroo.

Just bought the new camp grill and griddle. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, potatoes maybe, followed by. 3 espresso shot mocha, and corn in the mean times of waiting. I'll be fully prepared for another long days fun

I've been looking for something to cook with while camping, where is the best place to look for something really cheap?

Mornings at Roo? Starbucks doubleshot ice coffee, then regular coffee, leading to Mimosas and doses, trip to the potty, baby wipe bath, costume it up including shades, head cover, and sunscreen. Grab snacks, towel to sit on, schedule and OFF!

I recently found a coleman 2-burner stove that uses white gas (an older one, like this) at a yard sale for $20. I've been seeing them at yard sales and on craigslist; I'd assume the thrift store would be a good place to find one too.

This is pretty spot on, except I'd put trip to the potty before mimosas and doses...don't want things to get scary in there!

Things are already pretty scary in there That gives you the perfect amount of time to be fully ready to appreciate the arch once you are ready to start the day. Timing is everything.

Well, that's true I don't know, I usually like to partake on my way into Centeroo. That way I'm past the security searches and ready to party by the time things start to "happen".
