Despite more than half of voters picking something other than "doesn't really matter", I doubt there are more than just a handful of psychopaths people that have actually ended or paused sex to demand that their partner remove his/her socks.
imo... if one of us is wearing socks, we should both be wearing socks. just not the same color. it would just be weird to show up to sexy time wearing the same colored socks. maybe. also we need socks on if getting dirty in a hotel room. you just never know about the floors.
otherwise, id prefer no socks. but i wont judge you for wearing yours.
i can honestly say, a fedora has never been rocked before. i think i will add this to my bucket list. maybe i should post about this new bucket list item in the single/mingle thread.
That's a bit of stretch there, bud. ALWAYS wrap it up.
Think about spreading Saran Wrap around your vagina before sex and say that again.
If I Saran Wrap my vagina it's going to be really hard to get anything in there. One would be literally hitting a wall of plastic there.... Think about it.

I re-read this whole thread today. I forgot how great parts of it are.
Just take your socks off, you freaks. You're not supposed to get naked and leave your socks on. The last guy I dated absolutely hated feet, to the point he wouldn't even take his own socks off unless he had to. It was just weird.
Although, as I've said on this thread a few times, I keep the socks on, I think the right answer to this question is that it doesn't really matter. I think choosing an answer other than that makes you sound like a crazy person. It's like saying you can't have sex unless you are both completely nude.

I'd never put the rule down, "complete nudity or GTFO" (nor will I) but I have to say I have a weird texture thing which is why I am always in a dress, short-sleeves and flip flops. The idea of my feet brushing against his socks gives me the shivers in a bad way.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

This was the body part of which he chose to have an opinion?
I thought it was strange but hilarious. I refused to wear closed toe shoes around him unless it was too cold to do so. If he was getting too cocky I'd take my sandals off, lean back, and kick my feet up right in his lap. He actually gagged one time I did it.

If it means I'm gonna get laid you can keep your socks on if you so choose. I just think it looks funny and if we're stripping the rest of our clothes off I would rather neither of us have them on. I will never refuse sex because someone won't remove certain articles of clothing.

not to change the subject but you might should look into 'sensory processing disorder' -- my son has it and it affects 1 in 20 people. Some folks only have a few issues and not the full blown disorder but if you touch something and shiver in a bad way, it's your sensories on overload.

I used to have "who is going to shave first" fights with an ex.
I usually won, but that is just because I am such an ardent admirer of the female form.

Haha I've done that too! Basically it was an excuse to be lazy and not shave though.

..carry on with sex talk now..
Whereas fabrics do bother me, it doesn't much get in the way or affect my life, so I assume it wouldn't count as a disorder. In my specific case, I think it has progressed from a general annoyance to a more outward and specific OCD because I let it. Like an older person who doesn't like to drive and keeps driving less and less until the point where it causes them anxiety to think about getting behind the wheel because they do it so little. If granny kept driving even though she wasn't a fan, granny would still be able to get to the store a few years down the road.
I don't know much about it I assume that like many other disorders, it's on a scale. The only thing that truly affects me is rubbing on a carpet. It makes my entire body tense up- my back, my jaw. I liken it to some people and a chalkboard screech. In another thread a year or so ago, conversations like this came up. Everything from socks when sleeping to not liking to be hugged. All can be a symptom, but does it necessarily mean you have a problem?

damn girl lol as long as you know how to avoid the sensation, you're fine.
If socks off during sex is best for you then by all means.. drop those socks baby!

I have a slightly similar reason for keeping my socks on. I used to have hyper-hydrosis (I guess I still do) and leaving socks on actually keeps my feet from sweating uncontrollably. I always have socks on, unless its very hot and I'm sleeping.
I honestly can't think of a time when a woman's foot and a man's foot would ever touch. Maybe someone else can clue me in on this, but when, if ever, are both the man and the woman directly beside each other (facing each other or facing the same direction) and neither person has bent knees? And even then, most men are taller and therefore their feet wouldn't be at the same level (plus the man's hips would be lower down than the woman's because of the angle of the penetration).
I THINK this logic also applies to man on man or woman on woman..
