I don't know what it's been like in Tennessee, but so far, it's been unusually cool here in North Carolina. I have a feeling the heat is going to 'roid up before Bonnaroo, though
I can vouch that it's a bit chilly in NC right now.

I had my heat on last night and my neighbor covered up everything in his garden..... Not normal Nashville area weather!
The heat in '10 was so bad that we haven't been back since this year. We're from Upstate NY and while we regularly hit 90+ degrees that roo was something else. Here's to a milder year!

Me and my Roo companion are the same! Except, we are from Oklahoma City....where honestly...you think we would be used to it. lol

I honestly don't trust Accuweather's longer-range forecasts... I only think forecasts are most reliable within 3 days or so. Would be interesting to see how that forecast changes now til then though.
I think weather.com lists the average high temp around 85, so who knows...maybe we *could* end up with mid-80s in the end *fingers crossed for good weather*

Around this time last year, Accuweather was once again getting our hopes up... but it ended up being true. I think this week begins the week where we can sort of, kinda, not really, but kinda, rely on accuweather for a maybe--maybe-not-let's-hope kind of forecast!
I imagine like usual it will manage to be hot, cold, muddy, dusty, sunny, and rainy. It takes more than weather to shut me down though.
Absolutely right. No point fretting over the variation...it's the extremes you should be ready for. A little rain is nice, a little hot sun is nice, a few clouds are nice...but what you don't want to come in unprepared for is a four-day deluge, 104-degree heat with 100% humidity, a sandstorm, etc.

I try not to follow the weather in that area until the last week. I've gotten my hopes up too many times in the past, when there were cooler temperatures around Manchester, only to see the temps seemingly spike the week of 'roo. That written, by visiting this thread I'm already not following my own advice.
Well actually this is what I use it gives me the monthly view for June and with each day we get closer it will give us 1 more day to estimate the weather at 'Roo
Please tell me how a a solid week of thunderstorms before roo is a good sign?
To be honest i didn't even notice the rain but yes that means less dust. And a nice cold rain in the heat of the day sounds amazing.
No it doesn't. Have you ever been to a fest in where there was a cold rain in the middle of the day? That means you sit around wearing a garbage bag for a poncho pounding jack daniels to stay warm for two hours. Horrible things happen because of this.

I'm not worried about the weather because I'm thinking positively that this year will be awesome! I hate that I missed out on last year's weather but I'm feeling hopeful that despite what the forecast looks like right now (one month away) once we get to June 13th it will be great weather. Sorry to be cheezy but I'm thinking positively

I would much rather it be sweltering and unbearably hot than have even a drop of rain. I can take heat, but rain and clouds dampen my mood like no other. I'm almost scared that I won't have fun if there's even a few hours of overcast sky. I hate rain.
