FWIW, I spoke with the manager at Manchester Walmart, and was told that although they do generally let RVs stay in the parking lot, they will not be allowing it this year for Bonnaroo. If you want to call them yourself and verify: (931) 728-6000

Roo week is like Black Friday for that lone Tenn. Walmart. I imagine half their revenue comes from out of staters not trying to overload their car/RV for the trip. I doubt they will go through with keeping tabs on everyone in their parking lot. Maybe they will let the cops know that nobody will be aloud in the lot overnight and they will monitor like they always do.
It is a fact that the Manchester Wal-Mart is one only a very few in the country that has a better weekend than black Friday. That being Roo weekend.
I doubt very seriously that they will be kicking people out of the parking lot for camping. This actually one of the reason that Roo went to the Wednesday official opening. They have always opened on Wednesday night, but now it is official. the overcrowding at WM parking lot is one of the reasons they did it.
Well dammit... We usually camp out under an Easy-Up out there just to get a good camping spot Thursday morning... Let's keep this thread rocking the first part of Roo week... There are usually some diehards already camping there the Sunday Prior.
I have never dared go to the Manchester Wallyworld. I just assumed it would be chaos. We always stop on the way at a Walmart in Bowling Green (because there is a Target beside it, and silly Canadian girls [cough, my girlfriend, cough] love Target in the US), or if we stay a Wed night in Nashville, then we hit up one there.

I corrected that for you. lol Everyone should love Target.

agreed.. I have to limit my trips to Target. I go in for paper towels and come out with at least 10 other things I didn't know I wanted/needed until I saw them there!

Now, call me crazy, but could this be a ploy to get more people in line on Wednesday afternoon and night?
I've read so many threads, with many people without rvs staying at Walmart Wednesday night in the parking lot, so they wouldn't end up in BFE. Perhaps since the farm is open on Wednesday now, they are trying to move the party to the farm, and out of Walmart?
