Flanz, I'm hearing Sanchez is already losing his grip on the starting QB job to Geno. Is that true, or just media bs?
Umm, a bit of both. The thing is, Mark needs to decisively win the QB battle to justify starting him over Geno. He's not decisively winning it, but he is playing slightly better.
In many people's opinions it's not enough because this is year 5 and if he's not blowing a rookie whose head is swimming out of the water, he's peaked and should be passed over.
I think all of this is premature until they get into games and guys actually start hitting Geno a bit, but I'm firmly entrenched in Camp Geno unless he sets himself on fire and punts a ball through his own uprights during the first preseason game.
Most people fellt the Sehawks were awful going into the start of last season.
So you can't spell, make excuses for racism and clearly don't pay attention to football. Glad we've cleared that up.
Well, I'm obviously the typo king on this touch screen phone. I've never made excuses for or defended racism. The Buccs had the same record last year as the '11 Seahawks and were competitive in all of their losses except a couple.

Doug Martin could be a top NFL RB. Mike Williams is as young as any of the receivers starting for Seattle last year. Tampa has a young D line and Barron should be a good SS in his second season. Really, I just don't think they are completely terrible and were making positive strides last season.
DEAD LAST in passing yards allowed. Third most passing touchdowns allowed. Bottom ten in points allowed. Their secondary was atrocious. They did lead the league in defending against the run, at least in terms of yardage, but that probably has to do with teams realizing that they could throw at will against he Bucs, seeing as how they also saw the third-fewest rush attempts.
But please, let's keep talking about the oh-so-elite Tampa Bay defense.
They did add Darrelle Revis and Dashon Goldson. Those are really big upgrades. Their secondary will be top notch this year
CPK, there is a 50% chance I go to the Jets/Panthers game (home game for your boys), if I do go I need a guarantee you will get down in a 3-point stance with me and do pass blocking drills.
"I'm so surprised Kevin Kolb is injured!" said nobody at all. Rotoworld reports that Kolb tripped on a mat and tweaked his knee. Getting injured by an inanimate object? That's getting dangerously close to Ryan Leaf territory...
A simple solution to a controversy. New logo can be similar to the Nationals, a stylized red W.
Even Goodell said less than 2 months ago it wasn't going to change. It's not going to change, and certainly not to the Reds. The Reds could have some people thinking politics, given the team's location. If they ever have to change, Snyder has had Washington Warrior's trademarked since 2000. Rebranding the 5th most valuable sports franchise on the planet is outright not going to happen because of a vocal minority. I'm by no means saying I like the name Redskins or that it isn't racist, it is. This has been an issue for over 20 years and look how much progress has been made on the name change.
Which is why I wonder there was a story about racism in football at all. Obviously if the team names can be derogatory there is a large problem that will continue to be ignored.
Oh shiz. I didn't know the Lions picked up Reggie Bush.
You are better than this Steve.
What do you mean? I think that is a good pick up for Detroit. Better than Leshoure and he fits the offense they run very well. Joique Bell was good in limited action last year so it adds some depth.

Will you let us know if you do? I'm only 1.5 hours from CLT, and I have family that can sometimes get me tickets.

I was just saying you should have known about it
Oh. I haven't been keeping up with offseason moves much this year. Another discovery for me yesterday is that Fitzpatrick is on the Titans squad. Can't wait to find out what other moves have been made.
Bovada's favorites for Super Bowl champs are Broncos and 49ers (6/1), followed by Pats and Seahawks (9/1) and Falcons and Packers (12/1)
Bovada's lowest Super Bowl odds: Raiders and Jags (250/1), Bills, Browns and Titans (150/1). Jets are at 100/1, Dolphins 40/1
I follow these lines close. And they just got moved to 6:1 in the last 3 weeks. Which illustrates the line is getting loaded. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get another .5 to full point move in the next 2 weeks after preseason gets on.
Also note they skipped 7:1 completely in the line move. Actually pretty big deal.

Packers at 12:1 is a good bet, imo. Any time you can get the hands-down best player in the NFL at double-digit odds you should feel good about that bet. You know, if betting were legal.

Except for the whole Bulaga injury thing. No OL depth.

Does anyone else think the Pats odd may be a little too good considering Brady lost basically all his offensive weapons from last season? They should still have good odds, but I just don't see them on the same level as the other three.
