I read on one site that they would be rotating the billing order, which would be awesome, but I just can't see that happening. I'd guess maybe MMJ and Wilco rotate but Dylan always closes.

Really? I understand the legend part and all, but I what a come down from MMJ. They have such high energy. Oh well, I'll get out of the venue early and beat the traffic. Perfect!
What does everything think the billing order will be? Wilco >> Dylan >> MMJ?
Dylan will headline every show. I assume Wilco & MMJ will switch off depending on the show. Seems like the fair way to do it. I can't imagine a legend like Dylan not being the headliner, even though Dylan is past his prime.
I hope it's MMJ >> Wilco >> Dylan for the Michigan show.

"[Dylan] sounds overripe, too in love with his own self-generated misery to break through the leaden tempos that oppress his melodies, devoid not just of humor but of lightness." - Robert Christgau, music editor of The Village Voice
That was in 1978, sandwiched between Desire and Slow Train.
To rely on critical opinion of Dylan is to miss the point entirely.

Even if you are not fond of Dylan's voice, let me assure you he and his band still have a ton of energy.
Of course there's a price range on every show at live nation site EXCEPT for the ATL show. I'm guessing it'll be around $35-45 for lawn ticket, $65-75 for mid range seat, and $90-110 for pit or close seat.

lawn it is then. I've seen Dylan with Willie Nelson and it was the most boring show I've ever been to. the opening bands are the draw here.

I really hope we get some collaborations on this bill. Dylan, Tweedy and James on the same stage at the same time would be fantastic. In a recent Rolling Stone interview, Jim James says he's never had the pleasure of meeting Dylan and they've opened entire tours for the guy.
A show ending collaboration with everyone on the bill (think Last Waltz) would be epic!

Just got this email from Wilco:
In case you missed it: Wilco is hitting the road with Bob Dylan & His Band, My Morning Jacket & others this summer. They're calling it the Americanarama Festival of Music.
The full dates are below. We're doing pre-sales jointly with BobDylan.com and some happen this Wednesday. We'll post the passwords Tuesday at 5:00PM on Wilcoworld.net.
And as the man says, "Meet me there, Beat me there."
The HQ crew.

So, no Pittsburgh date for this. But, I keep hearing whoreshack's golden rule of never missing a MMJ set, yet early July is not a good time for us to be doing a roadtrip.
It would have to be either Columbus or Cincy. Just so happens July 6th is a cousin's wedding party which is smack dab in the middle between Columbus and Cincy in Dayton. Which way to go? If we absolutely have to go to this family function, than we're absolutely doing one of these shows. No way will I be within an hour of MMJ and miss out.

ATLANTA price range is up now too LAWN - US $35.00 Ticket + US $12.35 Fees = US $47.35 BACK - somewhere in the middle of that range PIT/FRONT - US $89.50 Ticket + US $16.75 Fees = US $106.25

I am doing the Cinci-Columbus shows, and there is a chance I might hit up the Noblesville show too - if camping is available at Green Acres. That always makes the trip to Indy fun. This is a heck of a traveling festival, lineup wise.
Why would you want to sit on the lawn for these shows? I want to be as close as possible!
I want to watch these legends at work.
apparently you have more money than we do.
I didn't mean to come off as insensitive to some people's financial situation. Of course ticket price can dictate where you sit. I guess I'm in the camp that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see three of the bands I love on the same stage and it's worth the extra price of the ticket.

My apologies all.
no need for an apology. I guess if I really loved all 3 bands i would be willing to spend more on it. I'm really just going for MMJ.
