Primal Scream were third line back in '03 - no way do they headline. I would give pretty much anything to see Underworld on that lineup come January. There's no one I want to see more.
If the Avalanches play, I'd lose my f*cking mind. I don't even mention them because I feel like it's such a pipe dream. Any reason why you expect them to play?
I love that people think this is anything but a publicity stunt. MTV and Comedy Central are the same company. There's no way this was all set up, then suddenly at the 11th hour someone was all "HALT!"
Good point. I didn't immediately think of this but it is a good way to drum up some publicity.
NMH will be listed number two on their day, correct? Pre HL? I'm a little surprised at how strong their ticket sales were.
I doubt it considering that they aren't even headlining MOEMS. I would say 4th or 5th on their day.
I think third on their day is where they're most likely to land on the poster...I wouldn't be shocked if they end up playing Saturday in the same slot as the Postal Service. However, NMH screams Outdoor Theater to me, and the top three bands of each day always play the Main (other than AFP in 2010). So I guess it wouldn't surprise me if they were fourth or fifth.
