Fix it for 2015, presale will be within a month or so!
I've pretty much already decided I'm gonna try for presale tix this year. If I end up not being able to go for whatever reason, reselling them won't be too much trouble, right?
Correct. This is my plan as well. Buy now on payment plan. If travel plans don't work, I can unload the ticket easily.
Why did you stick a fisheye effect on those photos?
You may want to google "fisheye effect". Next time you wont look so dumb.
I did. I fail to see what I'm missing.
Should I rephrase? "Why did you stick a random goofy effect on those photos?" And I say that with admiration for the pictures you've previously posted here, which were good.
Might want to ask everyone trying to unload tickets in 2013 about that.
What this guy said. 2013 tickets were going well below face.
Since I wasn't in the market for a ticket last year, what do you think the change was? I was monitoring the ticket prices for weeks before lucking into a random guy who was offering face value because he's a good dude. Even at that time, they were still all well over face. And then they started skyrocketing. Was the top line that much less appealing to the masses that it could run the price down like that?

This year's top lines had far more mainstream appeal, IMO. But that's not to say 2015 will look like 2014 rather than 2014.
Buying at presale is still a safe bet though, as long as you're not just casually trying to scalp. It's hard to imagine that the fest won't at least sell out, and if you resell your ticket in February or so you'd have no problem at least getting your money back. Closer to the fest though ticket prices could go either way.

I'm definitely doing a presale purchase and then figuring it out from there. That's a given, even if I sell the tickets for regular face value that's still some extra cash in my pocket.
Might want to ask everyone trying to unload tickets in 2013 about that.
Ok, I'll do that. Meanwhile ask the same question to those who successfully sold their 2014 tix already.
There are about 400 left on stubhub for weekend 2 starting around $560.
Without question people this year were paying exorbitant prices for tickets, particularly the last few weeks. But I know for a fact that last year you could buy tickets right before each weekend for below face value. I do think that's an anomaly though, and it's far more likely that you'd be able to unload tickets well above face as opposed to below.
For those who did hotel/shuttle, how much of a difference does it make being able to stay in a comfy place overnight? Is it worth the extra money? Because I feel like I'd be much more refreshed, but that it'd take away from the festival experience some.
