any one see this article? They make a lot of good points about the Outkast show, and about the crowd. I think the bonnaroo crowd would be way more accepting than coachella.

The problem with that article is that it somehow thinks that Outkast either "flopped" or that the crowd was somehow at fault. I was there and the crowd was beyond hyped for that show, and it was packed to the point of being unsafe. The only problem with the show was Andre's snoozer of a solo set followed by bringing out fucking Future for three songs for some reason, which took the crowd out of it.
also that article seems to assert that anyone could walk into a Dillion Francis show without knowing a single song and enjoy it, which ignores the fact that anyone enjoying Dillon Francis probably has brain damage because Dillon Francis fucking sucks.

I have to agree. Accidentally saw Dillon Francis a few years back. He sucked.

This was overall a great weekend. The sand storm was brutal on Saturday night but I still had a blast. A few comments about the weekend. Outkast started out great and they played most of the tracks I wanted to hear but the order of the set list was way off. I was on the left side past the sound board. The crowd was sort of into at the beginning but they were lost after a few songs. Rob ford was correct the main stage was packed. I have never seen the main this packed not even during Dre & Snoop. Girl talk ended and not one person in our area moved. We were completely packed in. It didn’t help that the show started 25 minutes late.
The crowd this year seemed overall very polite and well behaved compared to previous years but they only seemed have fun during EDM sets. Tons of people taking selfies and looking for celebrities instead of focusing on the music. When the most hyped crowd of the weekend belongs to Calvin Harrris (who delivered a terrible performance) it’s a bit discouraging. This was still a great year with some amazing art and I wish I was going weekend 2.
