Come on, it makes complete sense that a mid-tier festival which has yet to snag any sort of exclusive act would dial up Daft Punk and Daviw Bowie this year. That's just science.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the Hangout thread is my favorite on this board.
I know. I was just trying to make the point that it doesn't get good until speculation season gets here. It just pretty much been you pretending to be one of them so far. haha. You need to take it down a notch, or you'll scare them all away.

FWIW, I saw them in September at the one of the LA club shows and they were still fuh-reaking amazing. Not top ten, but if I had to make a top 25 list, I'm sure that show would be on it. Kim Shattuck was kinda "eh" she had a lot of energy and a lot of enthusiasm, and you could tell she was super stoked to be a part of it. But it was lacking some elements that I think Deal would have brought to the table.

The later. I love The Pixies. I just think it would be a wasted spot. I'm seeing them in a few months with the new Kim. I'm kinda waiting to see how that goes.
