Guys....this is very important.......are you not aware that it's "fudgsicle"?
A fudge sickle would just be a chocolate version of this:
Unless you're all referring to some dirty urban dictionary type of phrase. In that case, carry on. I just want to make sure we're all on the same page when it comes to dessert items.
Accidentally posted in Coachella 2015 thread... My early guess is Eminem, Arcade Fire, and Depeche Mode.
I guess there's some chatter over on the Depeche Mode message board about them being done touring in March, which makes it unlikely that they'd hit Coachella in April. They've also played LA a couple times really recently...I figured them for a lock a while back but I'm having doubts.
I also don't think Eminem will be there. Just a hunch.
Yeah I was basing my Depeche Mode guess on the report from earlier this year about an appearance at Glastonbury. I'm not sure how often Glastonbury and Coachella share headliners. I don't anything about their upcoming tour plans.
With Eminem, I was really just going on the fact that he hit Roo and Lollapalooza a few years back. I figured he's due for a Coachella show. If he was ever going to be there, feels like 2014 would be the year.

Do any other festivals but bonnaroo have unopposed headliners? Just realized none of the other fests I've been to follow this method. And same goes from my memory of scanning schedules of other fests I've been interested in.

Pitchfork used to, but I think they might have changed that a couple of years ago.
EDIT: Yeah, Pitchfork had unopposed headliners until 2012.

It is a rarity. I looked it up one day for the MOEMS facebook when someone was complaining about them scheduling acts during the headliner. He stated that every festival has unopposed headliners. My list to the contrary was quite impressive.

Hangout did last year. They did the year before too with the exception of Jack White / STS9 on friday.

I really like unopposed headliners, it's nice to have at least one point in the fest where everyone had the same experience. And if it's someone like Jack Johnson you just hangout in the back and get drunk and piss off all the people who don't realize that's what the back of the crowd is for.

Shocker. Nothing going on in the Boring Barn.
Yeah, I was just coming back to say I like Bonnaroo's scheduling of headliners. While other major fests may have another option during headliners, they don't have the late nights. It's seldom at Bonnaroo I see more than one headliner and I'm usually in a more laid back mode for the jammy Sundays. I'm perfectly happy going back to camp to prepare for the late night acts I'd be likely missing at Coachella because they would be on at the same time as the main act.

And Stooges Brass Band from NOLA at the lounge was great during RHCP and I'm sure lots of others felt that way about Bakerton Group during KOL. I also caught up and coming Justin Townes Earle there during the start of Phish Friday in '09.

Yea, there are a few exceptions that Roo has made so that it's not a 100% unopposed act in recent years. I would like it to stay that way with maybe one tent (or some cafes) still having acts going while the which stage and main tents shut down operations. I enjoy the choice between seeing the main act or getting an amazing spot for late nights. Having Prez Hall be moved to that slot last year just made it more enjoyable to wait.
