Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Doing Coachella and Bonnaroo in the same year makes waiting for Bonnaroo a quacking breeze.
Yea I agree but it could be somewhat a case of yin yang. Waka is my next fest then the Roo but I just bought tics to VooDoo and made sure to see if I was pre registered for Tomorrrowworld tics tomorrow. It makes it where you are thinking about multiple fests at once so the pressure isn't on over thinking a fest but maybe it's also I don't focus on each as much as I should .... I guess I could have worse problems ... cr****
Can anyone remember how much they paid in pre-sale, last year? This is no longer a want, it's a need.
$350 per.
But most people tack on either a shuttle pass or a camping pass, so that's an extra 85 bucks or so.
You can do payment plan. That's what I did, then just paid the whole thing off a few months later, but it was better than getting whacked the full $800 right off the bat.
In related news, Justin Timberlake's new tour dates make me think he's likely. Current dates are somewhat sparsely spread out over many months, ending in February 2014 with no West Coast dates. As it's billed as a "World Tour" (yet has no international dates except for Canada and lol Canada), I wouldn't be surprised if he hit Australia/South America/Japan or something and then kicked off a West Coast tour with Coachella.
Timberlake/NIN/Depeche Mode. Lock it up.
Subs: QOTSA, the Knife, Boards of Canada, the Replacements.
Whats a Boards of Canada live show like? Those exist?
Yea I walked through it one night on the way to a show, JUST to see what it was all about, and needless to say the minute I entered, I began walking even faster back out of it.
The Dolab is THE place to go for certain things. Please keep it situated in it's current location directly in the middle of everything. I mean it's so small, you kinda have make a point to walk through it.
I don't know if I really see Timberlake happening. Maybe because I'm a summers breeze and fully expect Daft Punk?
The only two headliners that are a lock in my opinion are Mumford and NIN. Yes, I unfortunately believe Mumford will be there...
I feel like Timberlake makes a ton of sense. But who knows.
I don't think they'll get Mumford - call me optimistic, but I think that they'll avoid it this year. NIN and Depeche Mode both make too much sense, but leave them in need of a more "poppy/mainstream" name to draw in the masses. Mumford would fit that criteria, but then you'd have a top three which all a) played tons of fests in the previous year (NIN and Mumford), or b) toured extensively, including hitting stops in SoCal (Depeche Mode). Doesn't really fit. Timberlake would make sense because he doesn't have any Cal dates on his current world tour. Plus he'd be a huge name to bring in, likely the first festival he does...it makes sense. Don't know if it happens though.
I believe Daft Punk when they say they aren't playing any shows in support of this album, I really do. I don't think they're at Coachella next year.
To be fair though, JT's tour is skipping a lot of the metropolitan areas he's already playing during his split tour with Jay Z this summer. No Boston/NYC/Philly/Detriot/Miami etc. either. With the Rose Bowl split show this summer, it's not surprising there's no LA show.
Goldenvoice is always looking for "different". JT is obviously the right kind of artist to add to their eclectic headliner base. You may very well be right Juggs.
Also, with Daft Punk having a new album out, get ready for the pre-sale insanity to top last year. Every mouthbreathing goon on the planet is going to try for a ticket because Daft Punk is totes gonna play, bros.
I booked for April 10-14. I always book a room before the dates are announced and it has never failed me as their dates are pretty consistent. And I have free cancellation, don't you worry about me

I'm doing weekend 1, so if this is the year they bump the dates up I'll jump on another hotel immediately. I'm guessing they are still pretty empty for that weekend at this point, considering the history of the dates.
Once the dates ARE announced, it becomes harder to book a room. I always look out of curiosity.
How much did you pay?
$678 for 4 nights in a double. Steep, but they allow up to 4 people in the room, so it has the potential to be cheap. No cancellation fee, and no up front payment.
