I love how CoS read Coachella's boards, saw that someone posted this article, then posted the article for themselves. In related news, did you know that Alex Young was run off the Coach boards after people began mocking him openly? They created a fake CoS Coachella board username and posted outlandish things.

However, at some point they stop allowing in & out. I think after Blur last year half my group wanted to leave and get a sweatshirt before HTDA and they were told they wouldn't be allowed back in that night.
If it's just me, I really don't care. My issue is another who gets cold in a slight breeze. $34 isn't too bad (after the key deposit). We had one at Pitchfork and it was a lifesaver from having to juggle so much stuff.

Have you ever been to the coachella board meetup at coachella? what a bunch of pathetic losers. Something tells me that I highly doubt Alex Young, who is doing quite well for himself because of his site, cares what those turds think. Ya, he might get his info from the boards, but who honestly wants to sift through that disgusting mess of shit when they can go to cos and read it immediately? Maybe you should do something constructive with your love of festivals instead of shitting on anyone who does.

I think the lockers are pretty clutch, since they're inside the venue. I'm getting one again this year. The smallest one is plenty big for two people to share and stash a change of clothes/shoes. The campground is very small compared to bonnaroo, but I think the cost of a locker is worth not having to exit/enter the venue in the midst of the action.
I'd keep daytime stuff (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc...) with me during the day and swap it out for nighttime stuff (sweatshirts, change of shoes, leggings, etc...) around sunset. Makes the load you're carrying around at any one time much lighter.
No sang, it's actually the real deal, FestivalSnob got the biggest scoop ever and we're all just ignoring it.
That said, it's really not far off, I don't think. Tons of confirmed names on there.
I haven't been really keeping up. I knew the fake before this was fake but this one I believed may be real, despite that fact that it would be the best lineup in the history of lineups.
First, it's not real. So get that out of your head. Aside from the fact that it's missing some confirmed artists, there are typos and shit.
Second, that Friday is pretty weak. Outkast, Kraftwerk, Replacements, the Roots, Placebo, cool. Next few lines? Tv on the Radio, Duck Sauce, SBTRKT, Bonobo, and the rest is pretty boring. The smallest print stuff has Run the Jewels, Rustie, Volcano Choir, Gojira, Jagwar Ma, Jay Electronica and Machinedrum. But for an entire day, that's a pretty weak haul.
That said, I'd go just for the fucking Avalanches, which would be a dream come true.
I know, that's why I said "if". if they have even half of that it will be great.
They probably wouldn't conflict. The first three names on every lineup poster all play consecutively on the main stage. So for instance, last year on Friday the poster read: Stone Roses - Blur - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Modest Mouse? It went MM -> YYY -> Blur -> SR. Saturday it read Phoenix - the XX - the Postal Service, and went PS -> XX -> Phoenix. And so on.
that Sat. would be Casablancas>AM>Pixies>QOTSA>NIN>Muse. I would stay at that stage all day and miss all the other great shit below it.
