Interesting. A few surprises in there. I'm glad Wu Tang got a spot. ZZ Top caught me off guard. I expected Idol to be the one and only "old guy" late night act.
Nice I was about to make a post on this and was shocked no one else had yet. Very interesting choices for sure, but looks like the conflicts should not be too bad for a change. I also agree looks like R. Kelly and PL will be the which late nighter's but Wu Tang is close to needing one as well.
To play devils advocate, ZZ top makes alot of sense as a day time act. Giving them the Beach Boys slot would have made more sense to me. Weird Al is another show that didn't NEED to be latenight. There are alot of shows this year that would have been better slotted as late night shows. No complaints though. I don't want every band that I'm going to see to play LN and conflict.
Four Tet not getting a LN is absolutely appalling. Unless he's playing late at night on Thursday.
It is, but at least I can say I f'in told you so to which ever idiot it was arguing with me that they were 100% late night. Might have to look up who it was and stick it in their face.
