Not sure how they are going to compete with last week's announcement, but we are getting another one tomorrow according to Facebook.
Yeah and its going to be a band/artist that had one of the 50 best album according to the Rolling Stone. Would love to Jack White, Mumford and Sons, Gary Clark Jr., Smashing Pumpkins, or Alabama Shakes.

Hopefully not DMB.
Only act I could see getting added from that is Gary. What list of 50 best albums are you referring to?

Yeah. I just looked it up. I didn't realize RS considered all of those to be best albums of last year. I'm hoping for Amadou and Mariam or Bobby Womack. I could see John Mayer being an add possibly too.

MF'n triple post. I didn't think Shakes album came out last year. They could definitely be there. Dr. John and Jimmy Cliff are slight contenders as well.
edit: Justin Townes, Edward Sharpe, Avetts, Bonnie Raitt?
I'm not taking the time to check tour dates for this shiz
I hope this means there will be as much reggae as there is banjo.
I'm with ya. Hopefully this means that poster with the marley bros was right and we get a good mix of reggae. Relaxing daytime reggae sets each day would be amazing.
I'm a little late to this party, but I think I'm going to go to Interlocken this year. The lineup's too good to pass on for me! If other inforooers are planning on camping together, I'm in
I met this guy this weekend. He's from Virginia and claimed to have some sort of connection to the music biz. I don't really remember. Anyway, he said this Fest is a 1 year gig only. I guess it kind of make sense. How could they pull something this big off year after year?

A few of us are so far, and some other assorted festival friends.

Kinda makes me sad to know that this won't be a yearly thing because of the site itself (not to mention the fellas putting this thing on), BUT that will make it even more special!
You asked and we accommodated... Interlocken Festival is for "Inter-locken" friends as well as "Inter-locken" great artists, so we’re now offering a Preferred-Tent-Only camping section that is adjacent to the concert site.

According to the email, it's about 1/4 to 1/2 a mile from day parking to TO. I think I'll stick with car camping, so I don't have to haul my stuff for miles. We tend to bring a lot of crap. Plus, they said they'd have free shuttles (I'm assuming golf carts) throughout car camping to take you to and from.

The odds of free golf carts are really really low, and since they have never had a festival on these grounds before I would not really count on things like shuttles, no matter what they say.
"The festival venue is spread over a beautiful, historical 4800 acre farm. Your camping location will be a short walk from the music! Free shuttles at regular intervals will be provided, easy walking paths are available."
But I get what you're saying. Honestly when I read they would provide shuttles and that they'd be free, I thought it sounded too good to be true.
