Sorry for not being too talkative, I was out running around today..I read through everything last night, and something caught my eye--I'd really like to get some thoughts on this, since I've never played with LD before and only followed one game with him in it, and I'm just not that experienced with this to begin with.
We have all pretty much said that we felt that LD was town, but what if we lucked out with a Day 1 mafia kill?

When this was first posted, I paid more attention to the first part of the statement, or maybe got wrapped up in some Tupac, but it more or less rolled out as a "chin up, buttercup" type remark. But LD was pretty well giving his whole, "I know I'm gonna get voted off and it happens and yadda yadda" spiel...so why would he say he was going to help Amy through this. I doubt it really means anything at all, but I would think, even with his crazy style...It's just an interesting choice of words is all. I'll shut up now.

Anyway.. I've already said I'm ok with being in a runoff, as long as its a 3 person runoff. Amy has been quiet so I'm not sure what to make of that. Linana did save boneroo from a runoff, but the fact that boneroo brought it up doesn't make it so suspicious in my eyes.
Here a thought thougw What if amy is mafia, and one of the 3 votes amy has is inspector? I mean it seems unusual for someone who has not said a thing to be in a runoff. I've been really quiet this weekend, because I had chicojuarz here. I thought it was quiet and slow moving on the weekends, but now I know. Boneroo, Phi, and Oniel are who I have my eyes on. I didn't realize that there should be run-offs to get people talking. I thought you just vote on who you want gone. Now that I know about the run-offs I want to think about it more and give my vote tomorrow morning.

It isn't even sure that LD is mafia. Second, even if he is mafia, it's such a stretch to say this means LD and me were mafia together. I took him saying, "I'll help you through this." based on if I were a townie. Since he started that paragraph with, "If you're a townie." I don't know LD very well for this game, but I'm sure he isn't dumb enough to make a giveaway like that. Also, besides being quiet, what have I done that has been suspicious? I was talkative last week, I was quiet for only two days.
I'm not sure what to do with my vote. I understand we need a runoff, and I'm fine being in there. I understand now why runoffs are a good thing. Currently it's Tejas and myself, so we need one more person. For the sake of trying to get a three person runoff, and since I'm a little suspicious of Boneroo, I'll lock my vote into him. FTR, I don't hate baby seals.
so this is me, falling on my sword. I am the inspector, and I know who two of the mafia are. my given name was Tejas, and my guess was BlackAmy, which was correct. I wanted to wait until I could make another guess, but I decided it was better to sacrifice myself and give the town the two known members, than to take a chance that I could be killed and have the knowledge die with me. I do have a guess for third mafia member as well.
since you may or may not be likely to take my word for it, here is a rundown of posts that back up my claim (warning, this post will be long):

so then Tejas fired back with a fairly unbelievable excuse (who doesn't pay attention to votes on the first day?):
However if you look at Mafia 61 when I was a townie, I wasn't concerned with being in possible runoffs. I think the best way to show that your a townie is by doing things in the interest of the town(opposed to making claims that no one can prove like saying "Im a townie!!"). Plus its still early and we haven't even had input from one player(Dr. Joe) so I expect more dialogue and some vote shuffling to go on. But you can bet that If I do get voted off quickly or any other player gets voted off quickly then the Mafia won that day.

First I cannot speak for boneroo but I've only played 1 game of mafia so my level of "experience" is very very limited. So if your basing your idea that I might be mafia off my experience then you would be wrong. Secondly, I dont know what to tell you to believe my explanation. What advantage would I have gained from stacking on boneroo then retracting my vote? If anything it put me in the spotlight, and not that I dont mind being the spotlight but it definitely makes the other townies question me. And while I appreciate you assume that I'm "sharper" than that, obviously I'm not. Again I've only played 1 game and my inexperience will show from time to time.
and this in response to LD's post (seems unnecessarily defensive, obviously it was a joke):

Not quite sure what to think of this? Obviously I know LD is faking inspector since hes saying a fellow townie is mafia. But why fake inspector day 1?? And of course who does he say is mafia, but the player who has been talking the most trying to engage in conversation. Coincidence? I dont think so. But lets say Boner is right.IF LD is inspector and he was given my name. Im guessing their would be no runoff and I would be voted straight off. But then my fellow mafia members would lynch him and hes dead... Where does that leave us? 2 mafia and 7 townies with most of them being inexperienced. And the town would be a day behind on the voting pattern since I would be voted straight off. Doesnt seem to favor the town in that scenario. Or the right scenario. For some reason LD is faking inspector as Mafia in day 1 and he wants to take down the townie whos doing the most investigative work. In this scenario, LD could convince everyone to vote me off, then at night he and the other mafia lynches another townie. That would make the teams 6v3. Even if the townies wise up and vote him off, after another lynching that makes the teams 5v2 and because of his misdirection the town would have a very tough time figuring out the other mafia members. Especially since the lynched townies will probably be the most experienced. So you'll be left 5v2 with probably all 5 of the most inexperienced townies against 2 mafia members who would have to do very little at this point since LD would take the most heat. In fact the other 2 mafia members could even lead the charge against LD after its apparent LD faked inspector and throw the town off their trail completely. Either way both scenarios don't really favor the town. But this has clearly shifted all my attention to LD and in my mind hes clearly mafia.
Tejas stacked on Bone, then o'neil stacks on Tejas, for good reasoning, albeit an easy one too. Then Tejas chickens out after realizing the stack, then more or less asks o'neil to change as well and were all back to single votes. To me, this looks like Tejas is trying to steer clear, why would someone want to make it look like they are steering clear of any stacks?
Well than if he didn't call you mafia at least once last game, you made it one game farther than most folks do Basically I wouldn't take it too seriously unless you have a reason to be nervous about being called mafia.

I felt bad that I wasn’t on here all night, but I see I didn’t miss much. I have no reason to keep my vote on Bogart. I don’t see him showing any traits that I would assume go towards Mafia… but I don’t really know what I’m doing yet? My vote is leaning towards LD. Or I could vote against Jimmyroo for vengeance.
But I think LD would be nuts to post what he has being mafia, thats bringing way too much attention to himself.
Ok so just to get this straight I'm getting voted off because...
A)I posted too much, even though I never tried to influence votes just asked questions which is exactly what townies are suppose to do. So not sure how I come across as suspicious... Seriously read my posts only when LD called me mafia is when I made any kind of ripples.
B) I vote stacked boneroo for about an hour then switched my vote. Which I've said numerous times was a overlook. (And btw boneroo has his vote on LD)
And now
C) LD would never do what hes done in this game if he were mafia.
Even though theirs flaws in all three of reasons Reason (C) has to be the worst. LD did a phenomenal job as a mafia member last game. So good in fact that he won the game last round by having everyone think the same way Phi is thinking. Keep in mind that LD was mafia with Jimmyroo and LLL
here's where I tried to point out some of Tejas's suspicious behavior (without drawing too much attention to myself). he never responded.
Just as a word of caution to several of the newer players. Editing or Deleting posts is frowned upon and may be viewed as suspicious behavior in this game. There is no rule prohibiting it, but just note that people in the past have gotten killed for less. If you have to edit, please do it as linana did and explain the edit. Carry on.
not changing my vote from LD at this point, but just wondering about the last couple of posts with unexplained edits Tejas? I get that the first one was long, just curious. I know the point about edits being suspicious didn't really occur to me until Viking brought it up but since then I haven't edited any posts. and if I did I would include a note to explain. I was reading back through the past couple of pages before bed to see if I missed anything that might point at either you or LD as being more likely to be mafia, and the edits jumped out.
From my perspective Tejas backing out on his first vote stack is a huge red flag, hence my last vote and post. I am very pleased to see this much discussion and know that there is a very good possibility that we have 2 townies, didn't see too much scrambling going on to get either a third or swap out a member of the runoff. Looking at the two in question, I believe that Tajas has a much higher chance of being mafia than LD.

so good luck town. I am happy to share my guess for the third member, but wanted to let you all digest and discuss this information first. also, I have a lunch meeting from 1-2 so if you reply and I don't respond that is the reason. I will be back on after that for sure, and possibly during depending on how it goes.
I'm confused what you're referring to in regards to me "changing my mind." I never said Phi was mafia. Earlier, I pointed out that there were 3 people who failed to create a 3-way run off last round. (Linana, Phi, and BlackAmy). I also wrote that I don't think Phi is suspicious as a result of the MikeD whack. If anything, I was neutral towards Phi, and still feel the same way.
Plus, the fact that Tejas seems to be completely pulling reasons out his arse to vote for Phi only makes me think Phi is more likely innocent. I really don't understand what Tejas is doing with that. The fact that Tejas was really comprehensible/ logical last game and not so much this game makes me worried about him. If Tejas didn't have enough votes, I'd be voting for him to be in the runoff. But as it stands, I think you're the second best use of my vote and I'd like to have you both in there.
I'm indifferent on the 3rd person since it doesn't seem like having Linana in there gained any traction. Amy is probably a good candidate if anything just to get her talking.
Jimmy I really don't understand whats not logical about my reason to Phi? He voted for boneroo just because boneroo voted for him. I saw that as Phi voting for boneroo in spite.
I'd personally like to have seen a Tejas/Phi/Amy 3 person runoff. But since my vote on Phi is insignificant. I'm going to change it to boneroo to cause a 3 person runoff.
