Every year I bring Magic Hat #9 in cans and now this year I found Sierra Nevada in cans. Yuuummmmyyyyy
I didn't know Magic Hat #9 came in cans until super recently and I was so incredibly psyched when I saw them at Total Wine. Between those and box cider I am going to be set. I keep meaning to try Sierra Nevada and never do, hmmm...
I'll be bringing a couple cases of Yuengling and probably some Angry Orchards (shut up, they're good) since they just started making the apple-ginger in a can!
No! Angry Orchard is the best ever, and I can drink them even warm! I have never seen them in a can though, I need to before Bonnaroo, did you get them at a local liquor store or a chain? I was planning on bringing some Crispin even though it's one of my least favorite ciders just because it came in a box. Angry Orchard is my #1 cider, I even like it better than fancier, expensive ones I've tried.

As far as the shitty mass consumable beer I am still trying to figure it out. I may just bring a plastic bottle of vodak. Unfortunately beer sometimes saps my energy its weird.
I'm bringing ... and a few strawberry lime-a-ritas.
I hate admitting this, because I make it a point to avoid Anheuser-Busch products, and especially anything with "Bud Lite" on the label, as well as sweet malt beverages, but those Lime-a-ritas and Straw-ber-ritas are pretty tasty! This from a guy whose favorite beer style is porter, and who literally snickers any time someone mentions Four Loko. But damn, I still might bring a few Bud-a-ritas. So do I have to hand in my Man Card immediately or can it wait until Monday morning?
Not sure how I forgot the goodness that is Dog Bite. 24 oz can, 10% ABV, $2. Night Night. I may bring one for good measure.
:rofl:Dogbite! I actually tried it not once, but twice! I think it was $1.29 at the neighborhood gas station. The first time I though it was bad and gave it a bad review on ratebeer.com, but one day I figured maybe I just hated it because drank something else first and it got me drunk too quickly, or something. Nope, just as bad the next time. But desperate times call for desperate measures, so maybe there are times and budgets for Dogbite. Good bang for the buck, as long as you can stand drinking metallic corn piss when you really just want to get plastered.
EDIT: I think Dogbite is brewed and canned with Genessee (including their Cream Ale) and Honey Brown in Rochester, NY, not that you probably care. Those are also bargain-basement beers, but ones that I feel are actually extremely underrated simply because of their ridiculously low prices. I may bring either some Yuengling, PBR or Genny Cream Ale for a cheap beer, along with some good stuff.
Narragansett tall boys are the best Bonnaroo beer for any red blooded New Englander.
never had em at bonnaroo but i do recall sitting up all night with Sarah crushing the rest of what you left in Tennessee a few years ago
i dont know guys over the past few years I've come to the realization i just don't like beer in the heat, and bonnaroo brings the heat! the last 4-5 roos i started repacking vodka and rum and just hit up the frozen drink stand in the venue

I will be bringing some Sun King to REPREZENT the Hoosier state! It is the only local craft beer I can think of that is distributed in cans. I wish it were possible to bring some Three Floyds varieties. This delicious concoction should be shared with the world, or at least the Bonnaroo world.
We usually carry in a couple of cases of Fat Tire (my absolute favorite) and supplement throughout the weekend with some PBR and/or Yuengling. Our goal, this year, is to eliminate all the excess spending in Broo'ers Festival tent. Seeing as how I love me some Terrapin Rye Pale Ale, this will be quite a task. Don't tell my husband, but I'm pretty sure that I am already setting myself up for failure.

heck, i've bought dogbite way more than twice. you've gotta drink it ICE cold, though. it's a great priming beer.
i don't recommend a round of beer pong with it, but for the price............killer deal. and killer headache.

I'll be bringing a couple cases of Leinie's Original to trade, some Yuengling for casual sipping, and a couple of local/regional craftbeers to share with the campmates.

I found it in a can recently, a single gas station has them in tall boys, 2 for 3 dollars. Also that stuff is amazing.

Sun King! Our car will be packing some too. Haven't been able to find decent cans of anything around Indy besides SKB though..
World Beverages/Monarch Distribution is actually on the east side of Indy and I'm going to ask them what they do with busted packages.

I have only tried the cream ale and Osiris from SKB. Do they have any other varieties? The Osiris might be a bit too hoppy for my tastes if its blazing hot. I have heard mixing the cream ale and the Osiris make a delicious Black and Tan of sorts.
Wee Mac is their Scottish style beer and one of my favorite "regulars." They took over Chatam Tap's 18 taps and had their regulars and some special and 'some they canned and sold but set back kegs for the event.' The beers were amazing and I wish they canned some of them regularly.

I watched a documentary on Indiana craft beers the other night and realized that I had pretty much forgot about Sun King. The Big Red liquor store that is closest to me doesn't carry it. I'm excited to see what all is offered when I pick some up at the larger in-town store.
A Sunday ritual of ours for the first few years that we went to Bonnaroo was to start Sunday off with a buzz from a large glass bottle of Carlo Rossi wine we had smuggled in, since one of our party was catholic and wanted to align her partying with her beliefs. That crew has unfortunately disbanded and now that the ritual is gone so is the glass contraband.

I live in MA and they carry the Apple-Ginger and the Crisp Apple in tall boys at Liquors 44 (a chain, but probably a semi-local one) and Big-Y, my supermarket. If you have a place that carries the bottles near you, I would suggest asking them to order some for you! They just started making them for the beach/festival season this year, so they are probably still working on mass distribution. I'm pretty sure Angry Orchard is out of MA, so whenever they have new stuff the liquor stores near me seem to get them in pretty quick!
Yes, the Sunlight is a good summer beer. I can bring that and would like to trade for some daisy cutter. I will also have some osiris and if anyone wants Kings reserve let me know and I will purchase some. It is very pricey and limited, Sun Kings Bourbon barrel edition, $12 a 4 pack.
Some PBR, some bud light platinum, and I know this may sound weird but twisted tea! There is nothing like a cold twisted tea on a hot day! Random selection here but it'll do for me!
