So, I'm not familiar with the beer selection in walmart, as they don't sell booze in walmarts up here. What should I be looking for? What's the best beer I'm gonna find in a walmart in Nashville? And will there be any craftish beers there?

Realistically, you're not getting anything amazing at Walmart, but you might be able to make some of these work.
You'll most likely find the following here:
guinness boddingtons corona tecate modelo heineken amstel fosters leinenkugal brews new belgium fat tire sierra nevada pale ale yuengling magic hat #9 mama's little yella pils (maybe)
If you have time or are coming through the area, I might recommend Frugal Mcdougal's near downtown. They have a beer side (under 6%) and a liquor side (over 6%) and will have pretty much everything that is available from Nashville distributors. That's really your best selection here. Most decent liquor stores will have a fair selection of high gravity beers.

I could make that work. We are flying in, and cabbing it to walmart and back to the hotel, then off to a pool party? Lol. So I'm likely pressed for time Wednesday night, and a one stop shop would be ideal, grab brews and last second supplies. I may be able to find something close to the hotel, or pool party....

Where are you staying? You may have options around you. I'm pretty familiar with the area.
I finally found Strongbow in cans!! I'm going to try to find some Angry Orchard cans also tomorrow.
I didn't know Angry Orchard was available in cans until yesterday. Lol. My beer distributor ordered me 2 cases. I could only get it in the crisp apple.
Capital has been cannning their Island Wheat for at least a few years. I thought they started their pale and one of their browns a year or two ago.
This may be true. I didn't really pay any attention to them until they launched their IPA recently.
Ah. It was actually kind of a big deal when they did it, ahead of most of the other craft beer folks now canning. I want to say this is the 4th year, possibly 5th.

Wow, crazy. I toured the brewery a couple of weeks ago. I thought they said it was more recent than that. No matter. I know what I'm bringing!
Went on my beer run today, and this is what I came back with. Ready to drink some of them now Really curious to see what that Imperial Java Stout by Sante Fe tastes like. Could be a sinfully delicious morning beer.

I just finished a 6 pack of the Sante Fe Imperial Java Stout. It's a perfect breakfast beer. Probably the best coffee/java beer I've ever had.
Darn, I'm looking at some of the pictures being posted on here, and I have a heavy case of beer jealousy. I have a hard time finding quality canned beer.
There's a chain of liquor stores in Texas called Spec's that I went to for my beer run. Definitely the largest beer/liquor selection I've ever come across, especially some of their larger stores.
Really wish I could find some of this Hell or High Watermelon, but checking the brewer's site didn't reveal any locations near me with any in stock. Even looked at cities along the way to 'roo!
Just discovered Frugal MacDoogal in Nashville sells Angry Orchard in cans. HOORAY!!
<<<Heads up near Clarksville, TN.>>>> The Publix on Madison St. has two cases of Angry Orchard in cans left. I was feeling some Fat tire and Mike's, so I left those two angry o's sitting there. (after calling every quacking place in town) After reading about it I had to try it! Meanest 5% anything I ever had. BTW Montgomery County..totally legal to sip riding shotgun(State, County, and City)..luvvvit . Be there tomorrow night!!
