they posted the BMI bands on FB tonight. they got St PAul and the BB down for it which got my pretty excited i was hoping they would be on it. here is the rest.
Bronze Radio Return, Desert Noises, Dugas, empires, Ethan Tucker, The Lonely Biscuits, Shakey Graves, The Wans, Wild Belle, and Wild Cub.
im also hoping to see wild cub, lonely biscuits and bronze radio return if there are no conflicts
I saw that. Very pumped to see Wild Cub and St. Paul on there. They'll both be early shows so we can go and check out this seafood spread they got goin on over there and watch both sets. Perfect fit.
Very cool! Now that BMI and Red bull lineups have been announced, I can start to dissect the lineup. Looks like Andrew WK is getting a beach slot, I'm assuming early in the day. That will be hilarious! I've been digging The lonely biscuits and Brozne radio a ton. I had no idea the guy in St. paul was a white dood haha. That guys got soul
April 11th - Alex Grey w/ Papadosio May 16th - Tipper w/ OTT @ Red Rocks May 22nd - 24th - Summer Camp Festival May 28th - 31st - Infrasound Festival July 3rd - 5th - Grateful Dead Farewell July 16th - 19th - Camp Bisco July 31st - Aug 2nd - Lollapalooza Aug 8th - 9th - Phish @ Alpine Aug 21st - 23rd - Tipper Chicago @ Thalia Hall Oct 30th - Nov 1st - Hulaween
Sunday- capital cities will be on the beach. Most likely on the main stage in the ellie goulding spot. Or the imagine dragons spot. I am thinking the beach goes Bastille(Chevy)- capital cities(main) - PtM (c) - avetts(m)- JJ (Chevy) - outkast.
May Tycho May Phoenix June Rooo July MMJ and Margo Price August Queen with Adam Lambert August Roger Waters (Bucket list #1) August Spoon and Portugal the man Sept Depeche Mode Sept Pilgrimage Fest

I think your predictions are pretty close though.
I totally forgot about Capital Cities. I could see them or Bastille on the beach but I just can't see both nabbing beach slots.
i think Bastille will be in the Imagine Dragons spot on the beach and Capital Citites on that side stage (i forget what its called) in Bloc Partys spot. I think Fitz will be on a main stage for sure
Anyone heard any rumors about the fest moving to Destin next year? Considering how much trouble the locals and city counsel cause I wouldn't be surprised. I guess it would depend on how % control Shauel has on the fest still.

No, but it's a good rumor to have out there to put pressure back on the council...."$40mil for you or them?"

I heard closer to PCB. They want to double down on the SB crowds a la the point of having hangout before memorial to extend the season. Lineup is gunna stay young and probably more EDM and country. Personally don't see it as problem because of my age but some of the hetty people will be very disappointed.

i dont buy that for a second. this years lineup has been drastically redone compared to past years with essentiually no country music and lighter on the EDM this year. it will likely keep going in the direction of more up and coming rock type bands

An older client if my girlfriend's. She doesn't pay much attention to details but thought he was friends with or had a client himself that worked with booking. Most of the issues had to do with dealing with the city, losing money from no late night, backwards Alabama attitude, cops, and locals. The fest counts on the older crowd to buy the cabanas and other high end tickets so Destin makes more since than PCB, that place is a shit hole. Take all of what I said as a rumor and me looking for information. I lost all my insider information once Huka stopped doing bookings for Hangout.

Could be called Hangout. Would not be Hangout.
Name change is a likely possibility. Untz Fest, LePlur on the Beach, Bros & Hoes 2k15...something like that.
Trying to keep it somewhat realistic given when these bands will "probably" be playing, this is my hope for a personal daily schedule...
Friday:
Wild Cub (BMI)---> RAC (Boom Boom)---> Gary Clark Jr. (Hangout)---> Queens of the Stone Age (Chevy)---> The Black Keys (Hangout)
Saturday:
Diarrhea Planet (Palladia)---> RDGLDGRN (Boom Boom)---> Trombone Shorty (Chevy)---> Matt & Kim (Hangout)---> Moon Taxi (Red Bull)---> Modest Mouse (Hangout)/Bloody Beetroots (Boom Boom)---> The Killers (Hangout)
Sunday:
Reignwolf (Palladia)---> St. Paul and the Broken Bones (BMI)---> Andrew WK (Chevy)---> Portugal. The Man (Hangout)---> Bastille (Chevy)---> The Avett Brothers (Hangout)---> Jack Johnson (Chevy)---> Outkast (Hangout)
There would be some gaps in there but I'd ideally like to get a good spot for Queens and the Killers so that would be fine with me. Also, I would only catch maybe a half hr of JJ and then head over for Outkast. Biggest conflict on there is MM vs Bloody Beetroots. I have this weird feeling that's gonna be a legit schedule conflict when it comes out Monday. I lean towards the Beetroots but that would suck for sure. Feel free to pick that apart but I think it's pretty reasonable considering we don't know what stages/times people are going yet.
ok so if the Red Bull stage is where the BMI ws last year then hwere is this years BMI stage? also i love the idea of filling the lot with sand thats brilliant
I was really looking forward to St. Paul and the BBs. Looks like they will be up against JJ or avetts. I am not leaving the beach when those acts are playing. Be prepared folks, the conflicts are going to be many with 6 stages. They better put some great acts early or they will cut into their profits early in the day. If no one shows up til 3, there is no point in having a fancy food court.

Yeah St. Paul headlining that stage def sucks. I wonder how long bands will be playing on the Red Bull/BMI stages? I would guess they'd be done by 5ish each night. People will want to be on the beach/boom boom tent for the bigger acts at night.
im not familiar with the old VIP grove where would that be located?
i have no intention of seeing JJ and was ognna use that time to screw around and spot up early for Outkast so i hope St. Paul does conflict with him personally.
