On Saturday 11/2 from 12-5 I will have a table set up at the Phan Art Exhibit. I will donate $5 for every pic I sell to someone who mentions this thread.
You know what makes a great Christmas/holiday gift? A calendar does! But not just any calendar. I mean, anybody to go to the mall & pick from hundreds of pretty, glossy calendars. You can choose lighthouses, comics, cute babies, scantily clad men. But you know what I think would make a great calendar? A Pets of Inforoo calendar!
Now I just threw this together today with some images on here. No photoshop, resizing, or anything. I will do all of that with the final version & it will look better than this; I just wanted to show the direction I was thinking of going.
So, I am proposing to create a 2014 Pets of Inforoo calendar, with ALL proceeds going to the Whoring for Whoreshack fund. It won't be as fancy as what you can buy at the mall, or Wal-Mart, or wherever. But it will go to a good cause & it will be all about us.
To get the most bang for the buck, whoring wise, I have some suggested donation levels.
To have your pet featured in the calendar, $1-5 suggested donation gets your pet featured in the calendar. $10-20 suggested donation to be the feature pet of the month. And we will let the cover pet go to the highest bidder.
So what I need you to do is send me a photo of your pet. And photos of you with your pet are highly encouraged. You may enter as many pets as you have, or enter the same pet numerous times. Feel free to request the month & I will do all I can to accommodate. You can upload your images here or email them to me here. As always, donations can be made at PayPal to the email address donations@qsaroo.com.
Once I have received all the submissions, I will create the calendar & it can be yours for a low introductory/suggested donation price of $10. I told you guys they aren’t going to mall quality, right?
I am going to put a submission deadline date of November 22th, the Friday before Thanksgiving. I will work on it the week of Thanksgiving & have them ready to be sent out by the first week of December.

I think I have to awkwardly be a jerk and say your assumption is probably/possibly incorrect?
Here's the situation: I received a private message dated 6-7 hours before this post was dated, whose author wished to anonymously donate $15 to Bqcon-Wrapped Bacon. Under first-come-first-served rules, and since I said that the next $100 would be matched... that anonymous donation would be the one to exhaust the last $15 I had prepaid for my matching offer. Right?
I haven't yet updated the running tally because those three donations all found me as I logged in today, and I'm figuring how to proceed. I wrote back to Anonymous Donor, explaining that I don't have anything to do with Qsaroo funds and that other people would be seeing their donation information. Currently awaiting that response.
However, I checked with Bacon about adding the socks to the costume in exchange for that extra $25 donation. He's cool with that.

Nothing Awkward about that! Assumption was made on information to date, and being an IT geek, assumptions must always be validated before being moved to an accepted truth.
For the purpose of the WS accounting, I am the keeper of the account. Every penny is documented in an Excel sheet and validated to the PAYPAL account and monthly statements. Declared up front that one other trusted Inforooster would be asked to to review the statements and excel sheet to ensure that every penny is accounted. This was done in Sept. as i recall. That effort is done.
You can assure anyone requesting to remain anonymous that you and I would be the only people to see their name, and I do NOT discuss 'private' donations with anyone. If they do not want to do paypal and stay totally off the record, donations can go to you and you can add to paypal, or convert to cash and send to me and I will transfer. This dog does not bite the hand that donates to Whoreshack!

kdogg do we know where we stand on the Bacon deal?? looks like the last update still showed us short but I know a few more folks have pitched in since.
I officially fulfilled my $20 Bacon Wrapped Bacon pledge as well as I sent in $30 towards the calendar.
I'd love for my furry niece, Maui, to be the April pet of the month! It happens to be a high quality professional picture so it should work splendidly.
I'd also like my furry nephew, Casper, to be smaller in the calendar somewhere. I don't have anything beyond phone quality photos of him.. I sent her a few to choose from depending on what month she needs to fill
