So with Roo just 2 months away, I figure I should be able to make it, especially if I volunteer to save money (although that means more time off to arrive on Tues most likely).
Google has us avoid Chattanooga and whatnot. Has anyone gone to the McMinnville Walmart instead of Manchester? I'm thinkin that might be a safer idea. Then again, might be fun to see the beginning of the crowds there, especially if I have to be there early for volunteering...
Also very tempted to stop in Blacksburg on the way down/up since it's on the way, even if just for a meal or something. It's almost a halfway point and I went there and haven't visited since I graduated, so would love to at least take a pitstop there. Macado's would be glorious! (http://www.macados.net/) Although, looking at their locations, Marion, VA would be more on the way.

Going either solo or with one other person from Harrisonburg. Looking to carpool and possibly share a tent, supplies ect. I can possible drive, but have a small Civic. Good for gas mileage, but depending on how many we have going and how much is packed, might get crowded.
Anyways, I am a 'Roo rookie and hopefully someone can show me the ropes to how this is done right.
Who all is volunteering during or tollbooth shifts (requested, at least) and needs a ride? I have a tent I can share, supplies, reliable 3 year old car, etc. I know people goin but none volunteering.
Hey, I'm looking for anyone that is going from the Hampton Roads or Richmond area. If I go I'll be volunteering, but I can't go unless I can get a ride with someone. I'll help with driving and gas.
This will also be my first time at Bonnaroo, so if I do end up going, I'm excited to meet some awesome people!

Had some friends bail, looking for carpoolers out of the Baltimore area. Have people to meet down there but wouldn't mind finding some chill MDers to go with instead. First-timer. I will be renting a Full Sized car on Friday the 3rd to leave Northern VA (Springfield) between 10am-12pm on Saturday the 4th and arrive in Manchester around midnight that night. I'm a prefest volunteer and I'll be returning on Monday the 13th, leaving the grounds in the morning and driving back in one longhaul to be home that night. I'm looking for 3 people to keep me company on the drive and help share the cost. All up I figure it should be about $175/ea, that's roundtrip and includes gas and car.

I would also give you a ride home. My car is great on gas BTW, all I would ask for is gas money. Friday the 3rd? You dont needa be there until Sunday morning, right? If i manage to change my mind and find a prefest spot, I'd prefer to leave Sat morning since I wanna work and I have a volunteer position Friday nights at Inova Fairfax until 8pm. Do you have anyone in your car yet? Or just you right now?

I was thinking about renting a car to go down but I want some cool people to ride down with as I would be going it alone otherwise. I'm in Baltimore, so it would be on the way. The only catch is I need to be back by the 14th.

I think I figured out my ride with a during fest volunteer, but kinda dont wanna leave the girl I met on Facebook in Richmond... if anyone's passing through or in/near Richmond doing during fest, let me know and I can message you her Facebook to talk to her. (ie, she needs to be there between 10am-8pm on Tuesday I think)

Car from DELAWARE has one extra spot (2 if you wanna sit in the dreaded middle seat!!). Since money is tight and gas is high we're looking for another person to split gas with. We are 3 chill girls, all juniors in college. If you're interested please reply and we can discuss things further!
