Hey I'm in NoVA, and I'm a small girl (23) I can fit in the dreaded middle seat no prob! I'm from Franklin, TN. I just need a ride into Franklin/Murfreesboro. From there you can follow us into ROO via backroads so you don't have to wait in hours and hours of traffic. For the best camping spot its best to leave the Murfreesboro area from 9-11am Thursday morning. If you want to leave Wed AM & make this happen, let me know.
My friend and I are first time attendees and volunteers this year. We have aride back up to MD but need a ride down to check in on Tuesday June 6th. Really excited but we need to find a way down there first. We're two girls from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Hey everybody, I'm taking my minivan and am currently only taking one other person. I did this last year too, but felt guilty about having all those empty seats.
I have room for 2 or possibly 3 more people. I'll be leaving sometime in the evening or very early morning on Tuesday the 8th of June and driving all night to get there. They're letting people in on Wednesday this year so I want to be there good and early. I'm coming back early Monday morning after the festival is over, which means we'll be back late Monday night.
I don't care if you're male, female, a couple who needs a ride, or just individual people. I just ask that you contribute something for gas money and are able to meet me on time. I'm in Gaithersburg, about 10 minutes from the Shady Grove Metro.
No prefest volunteering... I've thought about it over the years but my work schedule usually won't allow for it. I was just looking to fill some seats on in my van. I've also posted to CL and had some interest there but still have room for one or two more people if anyone is interested.
I have a friend who might not be able to make it down this year (his first roo) unless he can score a ride. He can meet up on 81 @ Hagerstown and would just need a ride down. He's hoping to leave anytime after 7pm on Wed, with some slight flexibility. Trying to help him out so if anyone out there has room, please PM me!!!

Even though I'm leaving early traffic/cops wont be nearly as bad and even if I wasnt staying in a hotel in Mcminnville, I'd probably go that route. I'm going that route down there Monday and then probably heading back up on 24. You get the best of both worlds kind of. Google said it was something like a 5 or 10 minute difference. 5 year vet here with an empty minivan. Need someone to share gas & driving. Leaving Wednesday night (three years in a row parked in front of arch!) returning Monday.

I know! I just wish I would have time to pass it in daylight... I might be able to get away with gettin there around sunset. hmm...it's not crucial though. I definitely want to see Foamhenge though, if possible.

My friend and I are looking for 1-3 more people to ride down to the rooo with us on Thurs evening June 9th, leaving Monday the 13th from Northern VA area!
My roo crew from last year just hit some bad times and it doesn't look like they will make it this year Anyone got room for a friendly, non-serial killer type? Totally willing to pitch in on the gas & grub funds -- just looking to relive last years awesomeness.
My friend Jason and I want to leave from Centreville, VA on Tuesday afternoon/evening. We are thinking to rent a minivan because we want to bring lots of food and drinks and have a little store at our campsite. We're looking for at least 2 others (or 3) to ride (+help drive) and split the costs. (Jason has a friend who can get us a good deal on a rental)
There should be plenty of room to camp with us as we might have a spot next to other friends. 420 friendly. I have a nice new EZ-up with a mosquito net but no tent yet. Not sure if I will bring one so if you have one there will be plenty of space. Am also on the verge of purchasing a 5 day cooler. I'm a 'roo virgin but Jason has been a few times. Will be good food and good times.

What time were you planning on leaving? I would pitch in for gas, but I would only need a ride up. And are you going through Richmond, or down 81?
I could use a ride, or up to 3 passengers to the Roo. My car isn't great (99 ford station wagon w/ no air conditioning-I'm a poor med student) so I'd prefer a ride, but if I have to I'm willing to suffer.
The problem is I can't leave until Thursday night. I am taking the USMLE 1 that day, and it is roughly an 8 hour test. I want to get there in time for a 2 PM show Friday, so I was thinking of just driving through the night. I'm coming from Norfolk, but would be willing to meet you anywhere along the way (Richmond, C-Ville, Blacksburg, etc.). If I get a ride, I wouldn't need one on the way back, as I could just hitch a ride with my friends. I'm willing to split gas money/drive time obviously.
