I'm taking a greyhound down to the roo from baltimore but not tryna take one back home, will anyone have 2 extra spots in their car for my friend and i? we're good people! headin back up to harford county bel air area, or wherever is easiest!
hey guys i'm doing during-fest volunteering so i'm leaving Tuesday morning from Falls Church (right next to Fairfax).
I've got some space in my car and can gladly give some extra people a ride if you want to chip in for gas. (I'm fine going a bit out of my way to pick some people up as well)
let me know if you're interested! PM me or ecogleth@g.cofc.edu
I live in the Baltimore, MD area, and am currently driving by myself down to Bonnaroo. I have enough room for up to 3 more people (driving my Acura RDX down) and want some company to split gas and driving time. I want to leave Tuesday night or Wed morning, and then leave Bonnaroo Sunday morning. If anyone is interested, email me at ctmiller@loyola.edu.
Hey everyone, my girlfriend and I are looking for a ride from Baltimore (or the general area) to Bonnaroo. We'd be willing to split gas, and even split time driving if you wanted that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Send me a message if you could help us out. Thanks, Luke
PS. We may have a ride down, a ride back to baltimore once Bonnaroo has ended would be helpful as well.
Driving down from Baltimore, MD with my friend, have room for at least two more. If you are desperate for a ride, let me know. Wouldn't mind having two more to help split gas for the trip.

First Post!
After years of them asking, I am taking my girls (and their best friend) to Bonnaroo this year. It's a high school graduation present for the youngest. They've been to lots of local events, Virgin Mobile Freefest, Sweetlife Festival, Richmond Music Fest and loads at The National, Hat Factory and 9:30 Club in DC.
We are coming from Richmond, VA and hope to do the Walk-In camping for a great spot. Is it worth arriving on Wednesday Night? Who else is coming from RVA? What should we absolutely not forget to bring? I can't wait to make this happen and want to get it right the first time! ;D
Welcome! You've found the right place. I love the idea showing up Wednesday night. It not only guarantees you'll be in for the Thursday night festivities but also gives you another day to camp and make friends. If you're talking about Tent Only, I fully suggest that. It will cut down on the amount of walking over the weekend.
If you only bring 3 things, I suggest: Water, Shade, & Rain shoes/boots.
Take a look around and have fun. Glad to have you here.
Columbia, MD representin'! I'm going with a friend from NoVA and not sure what our plans are yet, all we know is that we're going! We are definitely doing car camping and if any other roo'ers are looking for a caravan we might be up for it. Will post more as we figure out our plans.
So I have had 3 people either back out or are looking like they will back out and I will probably be looking for either someone to ride with or someone to ride with me. I will be a Roo rookie so I really don't want to pull this by myself. I would also be interested in sharing a tent with someone, granted they have good hygiene and aren't hardcore partiers.... ;D.
I guess this is just me putting feelers out to see if there is anyone who would possibly be interested. I know it is way early, but I like knowing what is going on.
I live in Harrisonburg so I am right on 81 on the way out of Northern Virginia or could easily meet up with anyone coming from Richmond.

My brother lives in H-Burg and is possibly going this year. (He has to get/check his work project schedule for the summer first) If he IS going, i will let him know that a neighbor of his is looking to hook up a ride situation and will put you guys in touch with each other; if you are still looking at that time. BTW, we met up with him on the way to Roo last year and had dinner at Local Chop House; I love that place!!

Awesome!!! For sure let me know how it plays out. And yes, Local Chop House is the best restaurant I have ever been to anywhere. Best happy hour for beer lovers around too.
Spent some great years of my childhood in Columbia!
If all things work out like I hope, I won't still be in this area come 'Roo time. But, things are still up in the air at this point. My plans regardless are to arrive on Wednesday. I have loved that extra night at The Farm!
First time going to 'Roo and at this point I'm going alone. Bought two tickets on Saturday, after the whole site fiasco. My friend might be moving to New Orleans the week before, but I bought him a ticket since I'd rather him have one than not, just in case.
Regardless, coming from Penn State, but probably going to be going home and going through the Baltimore. Looking forward to finally seeing so many of my favorite bands and meeting lots of new people!

Coming in from DC. This will be my first year driving in from the east rather than the north. How do you guys do it? Do you go down around Chattanooga or do you follow google and cut across Rt1?
This will be my 5th time coming from DC. I go into the drive with the 75->24 vs. 40 decision up in the air. I utilize the local traffic reports and signage once I'm outside of Knoxville. Now that I have an iphone, I'll use google's traffic map as part of my decision.
That being said, I have taken 75->24 (around Chattanooga) every time.
But yeah, as the time gets closer, I might be looking for someone to ride down with me as well. I went VIP last year and will do the same this year. Last year I left Wed around 3pm and stayed at a friend's house in Charlottesville (saw the UVA Arcade Fire concert), then left at 5 Thrs morning. Arrived in time to set up camp and see the 2nd round of acts.

I'm in delaware and possibly looking to link up with some people in the DC/MD/VA area, DE kind of fits that too. I've already started linking up with some other groups, might be able to get them involved too. the more the merrier, i would assume. <----First Timer
Even though I'm most likely volunteering, I'm thinking about creating 2 event pages for ride sharing (volunteering vs. non-volunteers) to work out rides from our area. It worked well last year when I had volunteers carpool together, and I'm wondering if anyone else would like me to do that...or if you prefer to keep your conversations on here and/or private? I figure Facebook may be easier to see and get to know people on... *shrug*
If anyone's interested let me know. I'll go ahead and at least start a volunteering event page since I have a group of people from last year I'll ask if volunteering again. If you guys want a non-volunteers one, I can help with that too.
Like every year. I will be meeting up with friends in Raleigh NC before heading to Roo. If people are cool with that arrangement, ill be more than happy to offer a ride.
