I'll be traveling solo, doing the fly by night leaving by 4 or 5pm wednesday thing, myself... '03 Jetta. By the way... if anyone is doing the circle jam thing or bringing instruments to bonnaroo... etc.
I live about 30 minutes North of Norfolk, in Gloucester... so, I'll be hitting I-64 just north of West Point, VA, bypassing Richmond @ 295, back to 64 again> 81 @ Roanoke>40 @ Knoxville> Exit 288... then US-111, TN-1, and US-41...
But that will most likely change (the tennessee portion)... contingent on traffic.

leaving on thursday night or friday morning (the later you get there the better your spot in regards to distance to centeroo) last year i got there friday afternoon and it was a sweeeet spot.. except for the dude that fell out of the tree.. did anyone hear about that.. i saw it.. 730 am and some guy is falling out of a tree.. s c a r y shiz peace

Hey Happy, my sis and I are leaving from Leesburg on Wed. and staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Manchester. There's a get together planned in the parking lot that night. We'll be driving a blue vibe down. Honk and wave if you see us.
I just gave karma to the lady from Greenbelt, where my very cool relatives live!
I live out near Annapolis, as I said a couple of pages ago. But now I'm coming (1) via Kentucky and (2) with a Friday arrival. I'm gonna be sorry to miss the locals at WalMart on Wednesday!
I might try and head home early on Sunday (after White Stripes), via my mom's house near Roanoke. (Wow, do they really call it "the Noak"???!!!)
We just made reservations at the Sleep Inn & Suites for Wednesday night in Kingsport. We're leaving Va Beach around 3pm on Wednesday. This will leave us with a 4 hour drive on Thursday.

Leaving from Lynchburg, VA here.
Departure time is around 9 am on Wednesday morning. We are meeting up with others at a campground Wednesday 45 minutes from Manchester. Going to get up early the next morning to get a head start on traffic and try and get a prime RV spot Thursday morning.

Probably leaving North of BAltimore, MD Wednesday by 7pm. (right after work) doing the Midnight/red-eye CanonBall Run type and driving through to Bonnaroo for an early Thursday (6am) get in line. Will be driving a VW Touareg if anyone else cares or coming from MD. Also, will probably leave after White Stipes on Sunday and driving halfway and staying at a hotel to shower and back on the road Monday for a long drive home and back to work on Tuesday AM. yikes!!!
Yeah, our buddy we're picking up in Richmond has to work on Tuesday. I took off the whole week after. Old Crow at the Norva on Wednesday. Bayou Boogaloo in Norfolk on Friday/Saturday.......Bonerama, Donna the Buffalo, Bluestraveler and Little Feat. I'm going to need those days in between.

you see alot of errr.. ummm... people around refer to it as the 'noke. it is not the 'noke and will never be the 'noke unless you are graduating high school. then it stops becoming that and some how roanoke becomes the proper name again. and you think thats bad these are the same people that refer to botetourt county as the 'tot. so happy to leave here.

Awww, aren't you a sweetie? Sorry I didn't see this sooner! We are going to spend Wednesday night at my friend's relatives' place right on the TN/VA (don't quote me, geography is NOT my strong point) line. Grab a shower and free meal and head out early to get to Roo.
Annapolis is a fine town, I used to live there and loved it! ;D I'm keeping you on speeddial so once I have some karma, back acha!

yup, columbus, oh. i'm sad to report she gave me a definitive NO, so i will be leaving from MD.
i've done the drive at night twice before, but i don't think it'd be wise to do alone. i'm meeting up with a couple friends flying into nashville from cali; i'll start out early wednesday, drive to nashville, and chill there til thurs AM.
as long as i got my tunes and strong coffee, i'll be good!
Making the drive from Baltimore. Picking up a friend from California flying into Reagan in DC at 9:30 p.m. and pulling the all-nighter to sweet sweet Tennessee.

i live in towson md my ride is leaving at noon sunday and i wanna stay for ratdog ill kick down like a hundred bucks and i will have no lugage if someone will give me a ride monday morning if not its all the same but i really wanna see panic and bobby
