Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Yeah. Thanks! I wasn't sure if I'd have space, but this is 1 of those times, I'd MAKE space for that, haha. When I saw that posts title on Google, I was intrigued, but then I realized it was in the dc craigslist and like 30 minutes from me, and I got super giddy. I had to share the news! lol
Still no reply yet. we shall see. hopefully will know by the end of the day if he's found anyone else yet. it was a very recent post though... *crosses fingers for the best*
So I just read on another forum that taking 26 to Roo is a back way and its very difficult to get into bfe. I dunno yet which route I'm taking, but I'm thinking about a back way still. I might needa anyway if I get dry ice closer to Nashville instead of down near Chattanooga. Because those are local roads, I think theyre forced to get people in quicker from those and the entrance for that way can get you in closer possibly. However, I've heard bfe isn't that bad and can be nice in some ways, but...id rather be close my 1st year. miss less shows. its hard enough as it is with conflicts and whatnot.
So anyone find any good camping deals in this area yet? if anyone find cheap (less than $17) rain boots around here, let me know, haha. After I read someone found them for $8 once at Walmart...I'm waiting for some good deals.
btw, I spread this forum out to the regular roo rideboards, so hopefully we'll get more action in here. We have a bunch of people looking for rides. having us all collaborate in 1 place would be good.
Back to square one. Finding a ticket on eBay or Craigslist, I suppose. The guy picked someone else to go with since he had several offers already. Oh well...
well i hope if i give someone a ride from up here...theyll talk more than this, hehe
I know theres a bunch of people on the roo.com forums from wv/nj/va and whatnot. feel like its better to post all in 1 thread instead of repetitive rideboard posts, but oh well.
So, I'm from Frederick, MD and I'm looking for someone to ride with. I, unfortunately, could not convince anyone I know to go with me...so I'll be going at it alone, otherwise. But I am going...one way or another.
I'm down with taking my PT or someone else's car. If there are enough people in need from the area, maybe we could get a little caravan going on. If I ride with someone else I'm willing to pay for gas or drive part of the way. I'd be willing to do most anything that would help.
I'm not sure how much I will be packing. I guess a tent, a camping chair and a duffle bag worth of stuff, oh, a travel hoop.

Hey everyone I'm desperately looking for a ride to Bonnaroo this year! I live in VA Charlottesville/Richmond area. I'm 19 which for Roo doesn't really matter cause everyone drinks haha and I am 420 friendly so I'm all about the green! I can totally help to pitch in on gas and I'm just looking to have an awesome time. If you have any question feel free to Email at ElijiwanRose@yahoo.com or AIM: XTheHybridOneX I'm pretty stoked for Bonnaroo and I can't wait for the costume party during the Flaming Lips performance ☮&♥
Coming from Columbia, MD with 2 friends. Driving down Wednesday during the day and coming back Monday. Anyone looking to meet up and maybe go into Roo together?

If anyone in our area has an extra ticket for cheap, let me know! I'm still weary of Craigslist ads now...and I wanna be able to help out and pitch in for gas or offer a ride, but without a ticket, it seems too risky. i wish they shipped them out earlier. i hate waiting!
oh, and if i drive, ive come to the conclusion im not takin my friend. too much drama between us. so i can probably take 1 or 2 people...assuming im gonna still take my car. it's a lot of miles, but at least its only a 2 year old car. 2009 model. It'd be a lot of fun to caravan down though...

I just posted my own thread....didn't see this, sorry. Anyway, I'm from Buffalo but will be in DC for the summer. Not sure when or how, but I'll be at Roo. If anyone is looking to share a ride still, message me. I have a car and am willing to work with whatever if it fits my (still unsure) schedule.

I used to live in TN but now I am leaving from Hampton Roads VA area, and I have a seat in my car. I am also looking to possibly caravan because I did the drive 2 years ago and it was BORING. Not so much the ride there but the ride back WHoo. I am a medical professional and I camp comfy I am also completely willing to go solo again. I make friends easily. Hit me up at Chriscuevas68@yahoo.com
hello fellow bonnoroo attendees. myself and two college friends (we went to psu) are headed to bonnaroo, but alas, we have no car. well get a rental if need be, but as we are trying to save money, we would prefer a ride. we can cover gas, take turns driving, and meet you anywhere is most convenient for you. we are coming from dc but can meet you in md, va, de, pa, whereever you are. please get back to me asap cause its getting close!
blah. nevermind about what I previously wrote. Turns out my friends are deciding to buy Greyhound tickets tonight before the 14-day advance purchase rates expire. Hopefully can meet them in Tent Only.
So...that probably means I'm definitely driving (myself or with someone) down there once I know I've got a ticket. Don't want the extra mileage on my car kinda though. Hmm... gas ends up cheaper than the greyhound ticket in the end, im sure (so long as you split the cost with others)

Coming from Blacksburg, VA (Virginia Tech)...probably gonna end up flying from Roanoke to Nashville & back...unless anyone wants to give me a lift...I'll throw in $money$ for gas/etc.
Shoot me an email/PM if you want to help me out...
Hmm. After more thought, I'm wondering if catching a ride back up to the Tysons area on Monday morning would be better than flying home Sunday and missing most of the good shows that day. I'd probably needa leave by 4pm latest to go to the airport in time.
If anyone's available to drive me back to Tysons (near the Dunn Loring metro), let me know if you have room for me and a suitcase, and how much gas $ you'd ask for. Can leave late Sun night if you all are willing to deal with the exhaustion or Monday. If I can figure out a ride, then I needa figure out a place to camp Sun night probably.
EDIT: I have 1 earrrly Monday morning offer. I might take that, but if there's anyone leaving a little later and has enough room, let me know.
EDIT #2: I might be forced to take the Sunday flight. I'm not sure yet, but 1 girl wasn't allowed to drive herself or anything cause she has vertigo and can't fly.
hello everyone! my boyfriend and i are looking for a ride from dc on wednesday night/thursday morning and we'd like to head back on monday. we are very chill, and would be willing to pay for our share of gas and whatever else! let me know if you have room for two!
looking forward to meeting some new friends and our first bonnaroo!
This probably isn't exactly helpful for you, but I am looking for a ride back to DC on Monday...if anything works out for you, and there's room on the way back...I'd appreciate a ride and would obviously contribute gas money.
25 year old male in VA near DC in need of a ride on Weds and back Monday will pay for the gas and some food. I have some camping equipment and really need to find a ride
I need a ride from DC (can meet anywhere near it) and can throw $ for gas/munchies. I'm a WET Volunteer for my first roo and i'm a chill dude tryna leave Wed late/Thursday early and come back Sunday late/Monday early. Would really appreciate a ride, let me know ASAP if you have room for 1. Thanks, Eric

I am volunteering at Bonnaroo this year and must be on-site on Wednesday morning-- I plan on leaving from Lake Ridge, VA early on Tuesday the 8th and driving straight through to make it there that night. I'll likely have room for two if you're able to help with gas and find your way upon arrival to Manchester TN (as I don't think non-volunteers will be admitted early). I will be returning on Monday, one solid day's drive.
Oooh oooh...me! I'm a volunteer coming from the DC area finding a ride extremely difficult to come by. Do you still have space? I'd love to ride along and help pay for gas; haven't gotten my specific volunteer schedule yet (is that normal?), but I'm assuming that means I'm during-fest so leaving Tuesday and returning Monday would be excellent! Let me know if you're available! Thanks.
