Does anyone have any regrets? I know there were big conflicts, so decisions had to be made & missing some sets couldn't be avoided, but I'm thinking along the lines of "I totally could have gone to that, & wish I had" kind of regrets.
I decided not to walk over to Glen Hansard between Local Natives & Passion Pit (had a good spot with my group & just got lazy about fighting the crowd to get back)... someone else in our group was telling me how great it was & I definitely regret not sucking it up & making moves. He's not in the US very often & I've wanted to see him for years.
Also didn't realize The Revivalists were going to be so good... should have gone to them instead of chilling on the lawn for Noam Pikelny on Sunday.

totally agree on the revivalists.. i walked by sonic stage right when they finished and it looked awesome. i also wish i could have bitten the bullet and walked over to grizzly bear, but i really didnt want to deal with walking through the crowd when i was in a prime spot on the main stage.

Hmm... Not really regrets, but the wife and I missed ZZ Top trying to find each other after Paul, and I wanted to see Matt & Kim but that would have prevented my great spot for Bjork.
I wish I'd have gotten to Splash-a-Roo and the Meatwad tent
Blacking out by the time ZZ Top came on is pretty regrettable. The last 20'ish minutes of McCartney are pretty fuzzy too. I know I was there for all that stuff but I can barely remember anything.
In my 5 years going I have never been in that position at Bonnaroo. And it is never going to happen again, that is for damn sure. Might as well just buy a ticket and sit at home if you are going to drink until you don't remember anything.

Ahh! I've heard stories like these from friends who have been more times than I have... I've been really careful not to make the same mistakes so far, but I'm sure eventually it'll happen
I was *almost* too tired to catch Empire of the Sun & Bustle in your Hedgerow on Saturday night, but just barely made it through to sunrise.
1. Made some friends while camping out at the What for Passion Pit, Wilco, Paul and went back to their camp instead of seeing ZZ Top.
2. Missed Local Natives. Granted, Calexico was an unbelievable show that I'm very glad I got to see, but I decided to try to get a spot for OMAN instead of catch the end of Local Natives set. Terrible decision.
3. Started posting up for Paul before Passion Pit and missed Foals. I did get a pretty sweet spot for Wilco and Paul, but I was looking forward to Foals.
4. Crashed after the Soul Superjam instead of staying up for Bustle In Your Hedgerow. If I had known Brittany Howard was going to show up for a few songs, I would have 100% stayed.
5. Went to Django Django instead of trying to get a good spot for Alt J. I enjoyed Alt J, but I think a good spot would have enhanced the set a lot more.
Went to R. Kelly and then the Soul Superjam. I don't regret seeing R. Kelly (great great show), but I do regret not being in the middle of all of that energy at the Superjam.

I got to the soul superjam more than an hour before it started and I still was only in the front-mid tent. If I could do it over I just would have skipped jack and gone straight there. Still ended up in the thick of everything and had a great view but I thought I would be closer

Yeah that was my original intent. Skip the headliner, grab a nap at the superjam tent, dance my ass off. But the entire group was going to see Kells so I thought, eh I'll still catch a majority of the soul.

Missing the last 20 minutes of the soul superjam will haunt me til I die.
Skipping R Kelly out of sheer laziness was a sin. By the time I had made my way over there, it was way too packed for me. I headed to Weird Al instead and then to the superjam.
I certainly don't regret seeing the first 20 minutes of Al though. His show was impressive, extremely lively, and he did Amish Paradise. Win.

I skipped Tame Impala, knowing the walk from the What after Kendrick to the Other tent and back to the Which for Byrne & St Vincent would've killed me.
Bluegrass Superjam Hip Hop Superjam R. Kelly Nas all of ZZ Top (only saw the last 6 songs) Billy Idol Weird Al Beach House The Lumineers Jim James Sam Bush & Del McCoury Preservation Hall Divine Fits Swans Killer Mike Japandroids Deep Vally Allen Stone Aoife O'Donovan Mumford & Sons
Fiancé got sick during Deap Vally, which caused us to miss Purity Ring and Father John Misty (in my top-5) :-( We made it back out for Alt-J and the Spree's fountain set though! :-)

I missed Grizzly Bear to hang out at What with my group and get a good spot for Wilco and Paul. I'm glad I did it, but I still wish I could have seen some of Grizzly Bear. Other than that, I saw so many shows that I didn't have time to check out the non-music activities, which I wish I would have done more of.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

I kind of regret listening to Petty from camp. I was so exhausted and when the rain started to fall all i could think about was a dry tent and a comfy spot to rest
I missed Paul to go pick up my Roo-mate from the airport. At the time I didn't let it bother me because I was "in there", as they say. Now that I'm "out here", and I've seen some of the videos... yeah, it sucks.
That is when you tell your Roo-mate to wait for 2 hours.
I missed Beach House to see Bjork. It was probably a good decision, but I really like Beach House. I also skipped everything after Bjork on Saturday. I had no interest in Lumineers, Jack Johnson, and the majority of the late night on that night, except for Mac Demarco. I was extremely tired, ended up getting 10 hours of sleep and had the most fantastic Sunday, so probably a good decision. I still feel like I missed out a little, though.
I skipped Tame Impala, knowing the walk from the What after Kendrick to the Other tent and back to the Which for Byrne & St Vincent would've killed me.
Otherwise a flawlessly executed Bonnaroo weekend.
I made that walk and I'm a pretty fat bastard!
Fell asleep from pure exhaustion during Animal Collective after waiting in line for Paul from 12:30-9pm. It was nice to meet some of you in line. Grizzly Bear and Swans are both playing locally this summer, and Wu-Tang plays here all the time. Sucks I didn't get to see Jim James, love his new album. Crossing my fingers for a fall solo tour, or at least a chunk of the MMJ set @ Americanarama to include "All is Forgiven".
Wish I wasn't too tired to walk over to Weird Al from the Soul Superjam. Every year I leave a tent set early to sit down and cool shit appears on the screen. Boys Noize was this year.
Walked away from Baroness after 8 songs because the new album stinks, should have waited it out, skipped Kendrick and stayed for Swans. Considered moving into the tent for Tame but I had a vision of how bad the crowd would get after "feels like we're going backwards". Byrne and Vincent ruled.
P.S. I want to thank whoever makes the schedule for Death Grips into Four Tet, and everyone I camped out with and endured Clockwork.

Maybe I should've added "after the weekend I'd had had" as a qualifier

Missed Walk the Moon, Local Natives & Allen Stone due to work. Never went on the ferris wheel or the big ass water slide or the adult swim tents. Other than that, I am pretty satisfied with how it all turned out.
