Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Your totem has been posted everywhere to represent how terrible some of the Bonnaroo attendees were this year. You are the physical representation of terrible.
This really was the worst crowd I've experienced. I even saw my first fight - between two girls in my neighboring camp.
Is it that Bonnaroo/festivals have grown so much that we're getting a new brand of awful people? Or maybe it's just always been this way and I hadn't noticed?
I blame the millennials
With the help of two other totally random strangers, I broke up a fight in the Mastodon mosh pit.
Afterwards, someone told me that was the first fight they have seen at Bonnaroo since the start. I'm relatively new myself, but they were kinda shaken up about the whole thing.
Can I say how much it really bummed me out to hear so many people find so much joy in calling Kanye a gay fish? I mean this from a totally personal perspective as a gay man and not from an I-love-Kanye perspective. It really sucked and trying to explain to the people saying it why it was offensive was not doing me or my croo any favors.
1. The joke isn't funny. That episode of South Park really isn't that funny either. 2. You were not original or cool. 3. Maybe just shut the fuck up? 4. If that totem was yours, congrats. I'm sorry, I find this pretty upsetting, I hope your good time wasn't compromised by people who are beneath you.
I liked during Heartless when he said/sung "How many people came from out of town in this mothafucka?!" *Cheers* "That's why I promise not to let y'all down in this mothafucka!"

It definitely wasn't. This was one of my favorite Roos.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

I actually felt the opposite. My experience at least. I was in the Kanye pit too so I never had a bad experience all weekend as far as crowds or bros go. Last year was way worse imo.
In all the time I've attended Roo and been on inforoo,, I don't ever remember a more divisive subject, headliner or no. And that's really sad. We have become so polarized that Inforoo is a different place. That's even sadder.

I know the gay fish thing has already been covered, but I instantly think less of anyone who thinks that joke is still funny. Even some of my friends. Ugh.

I think its funny in the episode of south park but not funny when someone uses it as a go-to insult. The South Park episode isn't making fun of him for being gay....it's that he's oblivious to a dumb joke and lets it takeover his focus. So when I heard people saying "haha he's a Gay Fish!" it didn't have the same kind of feeling.
It's the same as when someone says "Well this stand up comedian said it and I agree/found it funny so I think we should all say it" when referring to racial/sexual slurs. Yea...I know that Louis CK said that and I laughed when he said it but you're not Louis CK and aren't making a larger point about life.

I agree. And anyone who says "Haha, Kanye is a gay fish!" is missing the point, just like the caricature of Kanye was in that episode. The irony is unbearable.
