after seeing kanye's show on tuesday, bonnaroo would be quacking up if they didn't book him. I have never seen anything like that before in my life

foreal! he is seriously way beyond anything I have seen in a long time. I thought his show at gov ball was incredible, walked away thinking it was the best rap show I had ever seen. then I see the yeezus tour and it's just holy shit! we were on the floor and he was just smiling the whole time he played. he's so into what he's doing right now and a lot of performers could learn something from him. most bands/artists show up, play their songs and walk off stage. kanye gives you a fucking spectacle

Kanye is unreliable I wouldn't trust him to show up not after what happened in 08 or whatever year that was and especially after whats hes' been doing lately. He recently postponed 2 vancouver shows at the last minute. Fucking over thousands of fans.

Bands/artists have to cancel shows because of problems like this all the time. Neil Young and Crazy Horse just had to cancel a bunch of dates because of something going wrong and while I was pissed about missing the show it's just the way things go sometimes.

Sorry I guess that article left out the part where the first postponement was due to Kanye renting out an entire stadium to propose to Kim. He planned this weeks in advance and didnt bother to tell fans he wasn't showing up until 2 hours before the start of the show.

So a truck Kanye isn't driving crashes with his video screen (which is a very important part of his show) and he won't put on a half-assed performance...so that makes him unreliable?
Also, he proposed to Kim on 10/21, not 10/20, and with these new magical contraptions known as airplanes, he could have put on the show on 10/20 as scheduled, and then flown to SF to propose, then met back up with his tour whose next stop was San Jose. So, you're right, Kanye planned his engagement well in advance, in coordination with his tour. Just because the dates didn't work has nothing to do with the proposal, get over it.
you guys really need to get over some shiz that happened almost 6 years ago. I guarantee you if radiohead had done the same thing we still would have all wanted them back the next year.

I will never get over what Kayne did 6 years ago and most people who were there probably won't get over it either. I'm not a fan of Radiohead but I'm pretty sure they would never do the same thing. If they did, then I wouldn't want them back either. They'd have to be a pretty crappy band to do what Kayne did.
He bitched and moaned to get his set changed from an afternoon show to a late night show so it would be glow-in-the-dark and then he didn't even show up until after the sun came up (as seen in the video above). Not only that but he told other bands to get off the stage early because he wanted to be the only person playing. Do you really want someone like that to come back to Roo? He doesn't belong anywhere near the farm. I don't care how good his shows are now, his 2008 glow-in-the-dark show was supposed to be a huge spectacle too and it ended up being crap.

I have absolutely no fucking clue, I went to give him a shot cause a friend of mine who I usually trust when it comes to rap/hiphop was really into him at the time. now he doesn't even like him. wale is fuckin terrible

I'm really enjoying following Questlove's photo footage of the MSG show as it happens. DMC looking on as A Tribe Called Quest performs. Common hanging backstage. I can't wait to see what he posts next.
